Upon entering the room, the temperature was at 25C. However, since it is winter, the hotel did not allowed us to control the heating ourselves. Upon calling the reception, she said they used central heating dyring this time, and asked us to open the window to make our room cooler. At this point, our room already at 28C (there were 4 of us in the room). We opened the window and slept near the window, as this was the only place that was colder, but unfortunately the noise from outside just too loud. As we were too tired from the journey, we just make do with what we had and fall asleep, just to be woken up with the temperature of the room at 26C. The hotel should allowed the customer to control their room temperature by themselves as people have their own prefereces for this. As for the breakfast, excellent varieties and everything was delicious.

Overall, my stay was satisfactory, with a very generous breakfast buffet. However, my room faced the main road, which is extremely noisy, so the background noise in the room was high, especially in the evening (but I had earplugs, so it was fine).

25.06.2025 tarihinde eşimle beraber Konya Novotel'de 1 gece konaklama amacıyla internet üzerinden rezervasyon oluşturdum. Eşim ve benim beraber geldiğimiz araç hariç 2 araç ile otel kapısının önünde müşterisi olduğum otelin vale hizmetinden faydalanmayı bekledim. O anda resepsiyonda bekleyen birkaç personele durumu izah ettikten sonra epey bir süre bekledim. Otelin önünde mecburen oluşturduığumuz konvoya sinirlenen -personelin vip olarak bahsettiği- araç sürekli korna çalınca personel o aracın vip olduğunu ve herhangi bir cevap veremeyeceğimizi gayet sert tonlamasıyla iletti. Bahsi geçen vip araçtaki 2 kişi alkol almış ve taşkınlık çıkarmak isteyen insanlardı. Otelin önünde güvenlik biriminden herhangi birinin olmamasıyla ilgili resepsiyoniste de yükselen personel sonrasında benimle beraber gelen arkadaşlarımı otelin önünden gönderip vip aracın yolunu açtı. Sonrasında herhangi bir özürle gelmemesi ve bu üslupla müşteri karşılamış olması ziyadesiyle üzdü. Otel deneyiminden personelin üslubundan ötürü memnun kalmadım.

Gece 23.30 gibi yangın anonsu yapıldı çocuklarla birlikte uykudan uyanıp soluk soluğa yangın merdivenlerinden kaçtık. Aşağıya indiğimizde bunun bir tatbikat olduğunu söylediler. Benim bildiğim tatbikat olacaksa önceden bilgi verilmeliydi. Özellikle otel yangını konusunda kritik bir dönemde yapılmaması gereken bir hataydı. Konya Novotel'de ilk konaklayışımızdı. Genel olarak iyi bir deneyimdi. Otel çalışanları ilgili ve yardımseverdi. Otelde yenilenmesi gereken eşyalar mevcuttu (pencere kolu tam oturmuyordu, giriş kapısındaki çerçevenin fitili yerinden çıkıyordu vs.). Bunun yanında harika bir kahvaltısı vardı.
