Had a very good stay. The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall ambience is pleasant. I stayed only for a night. It was all fine. I expect to get an upgrade because of my status, but couldn’t get it. At the reception they informed me that there is no rooms available for upgrade even before I request for the same. It is good. But on the other hand. When I look at the Accor app. I could see a suite room available at that time also. I don’t know why I did not get an upgrade, but otherwise I was totally happy.

Parking was a problem and finding a suitable parking space was not convenient. Also, the music/noise level was quite high even after 12 midnight, which made it difficult to relax and sleep comfortably. I hope the hotel can address these issues to improve the overall guest experience.

Check-in at 12am, out at 9am. In between, room was okay (ALL Plat recognition was weak and took a while to check-in. Upgraded one level, but not complaining since just night) but breakfast (Food and Service) were both terrible. The most uninterested and unbothered staff , this hotel shouldn’t be an Accor property (it doesn’t deserve a chain recognition). Breakfast spread was much worse than most 3+ star hotels, cutlery was dirty, table was rickety, plates seems to have been scratched for over 10 years (almost grey from their original white). Overall my first Grand Mercure stay and wasn’t expecting a Pullman or Sofitel but honestly even Ibis has been better - always. Once I stacked up plates and requested for clearance after walking up to them, they came and then ignored again! Would seriously implore Accor to remove this hotel for F&B reasons - tarnished the brand!!!

Everything was up to the expected 5-star standard—the service, ambience, hospitality, and overall experience were excellent. The only area that fell short was the washroom, which I felt was not quite at the level expected from a 5-star property. Other than that, everything was really good and I had a pleasant stay.
