Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a business trip and the experience was not very satisfactory. The folks at reception seemed either clueless of what to do or they were waiting for some other person (who is also busy) to come and sort things. Basic things like time taken to check in and check out, response to clarifications etc., were delayed. Trivial things like validity of the key card were not managed well as I had to re-activate the key card for all the 3 nights.

During my 10 years' experience of Surya Palace, this was first time in my 4 days I had to encounter service-related issues with inordinate response time delays and no proactive approach.

The room size was small and the curtains were torn. I am glad i cancelled my accor membership as i would be really glad not to visit the property again!

Receptionist Ms. Elizabeth wasn't aware about the check-in process. Even after making her understand about my room category, she allotted me a different category room. No one was assigned to guide me to the room. Lighting fixtures in the room was flickering. The receiver of the telephone was not working. Even after registering all complaints, Mr. Dharam the duty manager, Mr. Dinesh, the Sales Manager, Mr. Pujan, the Room Service manager didn't take any action. Check-out process was troublesome as well. I am yet to receive my invoice even after repetitive follow ups. I have all the proofs, video recording, photos. I am expecting a call back from General Manager.
