This hotel is strategically located near the Ampera Bridge. For 3 star hotel, Ibis Palembang Sanggar provides great breakfast which its menu changing daily, especially the Palembang traditional dish. The room is compact and well designed. There are two things that critically need improvement, the first is the cleanliness of the water of the swimming pool and the second is the service from their receptionist.

Hotel Ibis accor is located well in the city center <1km to ampera bridge and Musi river as palembang civilian pride. Affordable price offered most of the time for this hotel and neighboring to central pavilions which served traditional food and favorite locals cafe.

The hotel is well located, next to a restaurant complex and a big convenience store. The room is okay; the size is not so big even for the biggest room I stayed in, but it is just okay. The layout of the restaurant can be improved. We literally have to go across into the restaurant to the elevator to get to our room. It is located right next to the lobby, so it is sharing some seats with guests who are sitting in the lobby, not quite comfortable. And the waitress during breakfast time was inattentive, even though there were several waitresses; it seemed they were not well coordinated with each other. I had to find the table by myself, as it was not shown which one was available. I asked one of the waitresses for a coffee while she was just cleaning the table in front of me, and she said yes, but the coffee never came. And when I walked to the coffee counter myself and asked several waitresses who were standing there why the coffee was not delivered, the waitresses just did not admit it and pointed at each other. This is why there is a lack of coordination between them.

Only issue was I did not get a refill for drinking water on the 2nd day . I was lucky to have 2 bottles of water with me . The tooth paste is in a paper sachet which is not easy to put to the brush . If not for those 2 issues I would give the hotel 10/10

Simple and nice hotel, in the center of the city Good service, but there is an issue with sound insulation. Voices from the corridor can be heard inside the room, and the glass window facing the road is not soundproof. Vehicle noise is disturbing, and conversations in the corridor can be heard inside the room. Likewise, conversations from inside the room may be heard outside.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the ibis Palembang Sanggar, where the overall experience was highly positive and offered great value. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Irka, who was exceptionally cordial and attentive. Additionally, the hotel amenities were in great condition and the food options were excellent in both quality and variety. My only suggestion for improvement concerns the bedding; while the room was generally comfortable, the sheets and pillows could use a bit of freshening up, as the pillows in particular did not have a completely fresh scent. Despite this minor issue, the outstanding hospitality and great facilities make this a fantastic choice, and I would certainly stay here again.

Chose this hotel due to its location near jembatan Ampera, convenient if you need to take the speedboat. Starbucks, a convenient store and a cafe/resto are located right beside the hotel. They gave me an upgraded room and complimentary late check out, which was nice considering the standard room size is actually quite small. Breakfast had a great variety with local Palembang food.
