We arrived two hours early fully understanding we’d have to wait until the 3 PM check-in, but they assured us the earliest possible room would be ready at 2:30 PM. Instead, 2:30 PM arrived and we were left sitting there while a steady stream of guests who arrived long after us were checked in and sent up to their rooms. Being told housekeeping was "catching up" is a completely unbelievable excuse when literally everyone else entering the lobby is being accommodated ahead of you. When they finally handed over the keys, they smugly announced they were giving us a 4th-floor room with a "nice view" as if they were doing us a massive favor. That "nice view" turned out to be the laundry hanging outside the adjacent building. From line-jumping other guests to blatantly lying about the room quality, this stay was an absolute disappointment. Should've just stayed with Sterling Hotel.
