Nice hotel but service not yet up to standard

hotel is too deserted- transfer from the main building to room often delayed; at night walking on the grounds not very comfortable or sense of safety; many of the staff could use more hospitality and English training. Room too dark and feeling too enclosed- because of mosquitos - rooms would benefit from mosquito net. Poolside limited service - could use the opportunity to order drinks.

lack of sanitary napkin

Hotel should provide sanitary napkin in reception counter or in the room as it can be emergency requirement for all women. It was big inconvenience for me while I stayed in M Gallery Nay Pyi Taw. (Reception did not care of my problem , they just say they do not have it ) I had to asked my friend to bring this sanitary napkin to the hotel from very far place.

i was satisfied with everything, with one exception. please check the irons in your rooms. when ironing suit for a meeting i had next day the iron was clogged and shot out a bunch of white residue. this led to me having to last minute do some hand washing of my clothes, since there was no time to send to laundry.

Taling the bus to breakfast

Service level is excellent, however the resort is to spread out; we had ti take a 5 min bus ride to go to breakfast. Rooms are sound proof but hallway is not. Noises from outside the room seem to echo and multiply, especially with a group Chinese leaving early morning

While the staff are very thoughtful and attentive, the rooms very comfortable, and the pool very beautiful, I was very surprised at the issues I found in the womens' change rooms by the pool and gym. The floors and doors are in poor condition, floors stained and cracked, the entire area smelled of excrement, the shower drains were partially blocked so dirty water was building up, there is nowhere in the showers to hang a towel or place the soap other than on the floor. On top of that, no staff in the area and no way to report the problem or order a drink from the bar. The staff had clearly been through and tried to clean as the toiletries were carefully set up, but it is badly maintained. As a user, no place but a dirty floor to our soap, towel and clothing in the shower alcove was a very unwelcome surprise. There is no luxury without cleanliness and good maintenance and this part of your hotel is in poor condition and an unpleasant place to be. With regards and regrets not to provide more positive feedback but better to receive it by email than through tripadvisor. Shon

Everybody in the team was aware that this new stay was a farewell one before moving from Yangon to Bangkok. Up grade in a suite with a lake view, memorable dinner at the Primo restaurant, enjoyable relaxing moment at the swimming pool in the sun set.

I greatly enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, it is very lovely. The friendly and cheerful staff were a feature. It would be nice if the pool in the main building was filled but I assume there is a need for work or maintenance.

I arrived after 14 hours of flying from Australia and had a painful lower back . Both sides of the bed in my room were far too old and soft and my back pain continued all week. Mattresses are the key item in any room and in my room 117 ,the mattress is worn out.

An apparently opulent property with definite shortcomings - mosquitoes in the room, pillow was too thick, difficulty in accessing guest service thru intercom and too spread out - no facilities (restaurant etc) in the block with the rooms

Taking into account general situation with hotels in Myanmar, I will say that the hotel is better than I expected. I stayed there for more than 3 weeks during business trip Rooms are big, breakfast fine, Italian restaurant is nearly perfect! I liked the room size and the bed. The cleaning is poor, though. The staff is helpfull but their English is barely absent. Managers speak good English and ready to solve any problem. Highly recommended
