Assi 51 Nahalat Binyamin street Mifgash Asi is a lovely spot for breakfast or just coffee. the place named after Assi Dayan, decorated with fascinating memorabilia of Dayan, a culture hero and one of Israel's greatest film makers, author, actor, drug addict and pharmaceutical wonder

This is a good price hotel around 20min away from the international airport. Location: it is away from the tourist area, but convenient to stay for a night or if doing a Business trip in the hotel area, which was my case. The rooms are small, the toilet shower is not great , but the water is warm, which is good. The linen beds and towels are all very clean. The lobby area has a nice and friendly atmosphere. The staff was nice and helpful to us all the time. They rescued a dog from the winter Weather and the friendly dog is around the area, very friendly dog, kids surely will love it! The hotel offers a good breakfast in the morning and in the evenings they offer a small buffet with some meals from the meni, all good price. All in one: stay here for one night or two, or for business in the area. They offer free parking which is great!

Upon arrival we found that they didn't respect our reservation. Switch two rooms with two beds each for rooms with just one bed. They even told us that they didn't have two bedded rooms. When confronted (we stayed last year at the same hotel) they accepted that they indeed had those rooms but where given to somebody else.

My family and I stayed at this hotel as we were travelling from the countryside of Rio Grande do Sul to Santa Catarina and needed a place to sleep over. This is a new hotel so you should expect functional rooms with new furniture. Bathroom was also clean and good. The location of this hotel is really convenient if you are travelling by car since you don't need to go inside of Porto Alegre to get to it. Service was also very good and the breakfast is delicious. The only drawback for us was that you cannot open the windows. Don't forge to ask for a room to the opposite side of the avenue.

It was close to the FIERGS EVENT CENTER and the restaurant was simple but efficient. That was all I needed. If you are looking for night life, maybe it is not the best place to be, but for me it was more than enough.
