Lovely experience at this hotel. Good experience in the Executive Club Lounge and a nice lunch in the restaurant. Accor loyalty recognised with high floor room and macaroons and a personal note was appreciated. Would’ve liked a night light and switches on both sides of the bed…room a little dark unless all room lights were on and aircon a little rattley… Enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

We’ve recently returned from a night at the Sofitel Wellington, we had an interconnecting rooms, with the family as we have two children. Everyone was so kind and accomodating, very helpful. Check in was perfect, we had valet parking which was a breeze, club access relaxing, wine and canapés, how could you go wrong, I would definitely recommend the upgrade. The breakfast staff were 100% spot on with service, greeted by name and always checking in, There is a huge choice with the buffet and also ordering off the menu, great coffee! The gym is awesome, lots of machines and weights to choose from. Please pass onto the team and staff over the stay for making it a very enjoyable stay! We will be back!

The room, 611, was a little the worse for wear and in need of some attention to details. The pull-strings on the roman shade were detached when we arrived, making it impossible to open them to make the window seat useable. Someone was sent up to try to reattach the pull-strings, and we were able to keep the roman shade open the first night, but when we came back to the room the second night, the pull-strings had become dis-attached again, making it impossible to open them. The water ran continuously in the toilet and needed adjustment. The papered cardboard containers at the sink were all starting to show their age and needed to be replaced.
