Pullman São Paulo Guarulhos Airport We stayed here overnight upon arrival at São Paulo Guarulhos Airport (GRU) in August 2022. This is a beautiful hotel. The lobby decor is eccentric? Whimsical? They have a gorgeous swimming pool. The restaurant is fabulous. We opted for the lunch buffet, and it was one of the best meals I have ever had, seriously. I love Brazilian food, grilled and roasted meats, many other entrees as well, bean soups and stews, my favorite! Salads, breads, desserts all equally delicious. We slept through dinner and had to depart too early for breakfast, to my eternal sorrow. Staff were responsive and friendly, spoke English, and made us feel welcome. Our room was roomy and comfortable, completely met our needs. This is the room we had: “Premium Deluxe Room, 1 king size bed, renovated, smart TV 55”, bathtub.” Good view, see photo we took out of our window. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Only negative do not count on their airport shuttle. We booked here because they advertised an airport shuttle. Alas, we waited for about 1.5 hours and the shuttle never appeared, we did call the hotel, but the shuttle never came. My advice, take a taxi. The airport and taxi companies have a good set up at GRU. You go to the taxi “office” just outside arrivals. It is at the end of the sidewalk alongside the building, glass enclosed. Look for the line of white vehicles with blue lettering and go to the front of the line, there is the office. Tell them where you want to go, they will figure out the price, and give you and the driver a receipt. The price from the airport to the hotel was around Reals 37,00. About a 15 minute drive. We also took a taxi back to the airport for our onward flight to Campo Grande, taxis were waiting outside. I am not familiar with Uber, but that would work too.

This is a great hotel just 10 minutes by shuttle from GRU international airport. I spent one night in a Suite before an early morning flight and absolutely loved the hotel and my room. Staff were extremely friendly, the suite was very large and beautiful, with a very nice granite bathroom, lovely L'Occitane Agua de Coco amenities, very comfortable beds, and I will stay there again without hesitation. The hotel has a small lounge for suites (and executive floor I believe) offering breakfast (which I could not try due to my early departure) and small happy hour (gin, whisky, wine beers, soft drinks, nibbles, etc). It has a swimming pool (again could not try due to my timings), a fitness centre with sauna and hammam (note that they do not provide towels for the sauna/hammam so you need to bring one from your room. The hammam is also extremely hot). I also tried room service which was good without being excellent. I really really wanted to give that hotel 5*. The only reason why I didn't is that I got repeatedly woken up due to the room service people not being able to locate my credit card details. I gave my passport at check in (both when I did online check in and in person in the lounge) and my passport details and the next morning, reception confirmed to me that it was on file, but for some reason room service could not find it, and so they ended up calling my room repeatedly, knocking at my door etc whilst I was fast asleep (my alarm was for 5 the next morning before 27 hours of flying, so I really wanted a good early night), even after I explained repeatedly that 1) I had given my cc details and 2) in any case, if they could not locate them, they could absolutely leave the bill at reception and I would pay the next morning (I was asleep and really didn't want to wake up and dress just to resolve a bureaucratic failure on the hotel's side). This felt frankly unpleasant, and whilst I do not want to blame the person who did it personally as I am sure that they were just following their procedures, this made me feel unwelcome (unlike everything else I experienced in that precisely very welcoming hotel) and I had precisely chosen that hotel to be able to sleep so being woken up several times really killed the point. I really think that this should have been handled better (I am also a frequent guest with that chain and they have all my details so it's not as though I was going to run away like a criminal to not pay a BRL120 bill!) But again, apart from that slightly sour experience, everything else was 5* and I am hoping that this was a one off and that next time, I won't experience similar incidents again.

Incredibly slow service, Rooms poorly maintained

Rooms not equipped with amenities like Kleenex or vanity kit. Must be ordered via app. It takes forever for few simple items (kleenex etc ) to be delivered by housekeeping. Must insist thoroughly in order to get delivery below one hour! Paint chipping off in bathroom. Long hair in shower upon check-in. Very very bad standards for 5-star-hotel!

I love the food in this hotel. The buffet is amazing with all the fresh fruits and juices. The room service was great. And what makes it more spectacular is the staff who are friendly and professional. Special thanks to David and Alessandro.

A nice experience. Very friendly staff, especially Joe, who was really kind and friendly helped me a lot. I went for the breakfast buffet and he approached me so I told him I am vegan and he came with me and showed me what I can chose and he even told the chef to cook tapioca with veggies expecially for me.
