I stayed for 2 nights this week for a work Christmas event. The first night I had the dinner menu - the pork belly was rubber and very tough to eat. The pasta dish wasnt cooked properly and tasted like it was fresh out of the microwave. The price point you charge for meals is beyond a joke and the food quality is barely edible.

Could not open window for fresh air, and AC (fan only) went on the fritz at 2am and screamed like an air compressor. Then ran noisy.

Check in was fine with staff welcoming etc, check out was underwhelming staff not overly pleasant. Bathroom clearly needs gutting and redoing with cracked tiles in the shower. The room began smelling of smoke during the evening and night courtesy of the bloke sitting outside the window puffing away. Mecure used to be much better than this, i will go elsewhere next time.

Only negative was the evening where there was a person in distress outside my room and it going on for a couple of hours and having to call the police and feeling the next morning that the person I spoke to at the reception over the phone was fully understanding of my concern for my safety and the loss of sleep prior to having to drive a distance for work early the next morning. I am unsure as to why the doors are not locked of an evening. Appreciated this week being moved to the back of the accommodation.
