Don’t be fooled by the facade or the foyer, it goes downhill from here faster than lead balloon!! $600 for 2 nights, $50 parking AND an out of pocket $100 bond! No air conditioning so far in the three hours here, and a rock band playing live in the hotel that sounds like it is in the room next door! Not to mention being located in the fourth floor!! No air conditioning due to an alarm earlier on in the day and ongoing investigation has lead to ALL climate control to be shut off and cooling stopped! Would have been helpful to be informed of these issues on check in. When calling up about an ETA as it is like the Sahara in the room, a curt response of we are looking into it and being hung upon was the reply! In the room there is what seems to be blood stains, yes, BLOOD STAINS on the wall, skirting boards coming away from the wall, holes with random dowels in them, bed frames scratched to all hell, tile sin the bathroom coming away from the wall sheeting and other small issues that make this room a $120 stay at best! Would have to be the poorest example of a Mercure/Accor facility known!! See the photos to support my review and avoid this place.

Location was off, 25 mins walk away from nearby facilities like eateries, supermarket. Room still in past settings, - nearest power socket to charge phone only found behind the bed (need to pull out the bed) - Wifi connection is absurb with little or no connection. - Tap head on shower was ‘detachable’ when turned; with pairing of conditioner & hand wash (instead of shower gel) available, worse the bottle pump was broken Although room was not facing Queens Road, can hear traffic, imagine just got in after back of clock flight.

I had a nice stay at the Mercure while attending a conference over a long weekend. The rooms where a little dated but otherwise comfortable. Things were appropriately cleaned and maintained. I enjoyed the pool and sauna shared with the Pullman, and the included breakfast was quite good with a lot of options. I'm taking of a few points for services as the check in process was agonisingly slow, there appeared to be computer problems or an outdated system that took upwards of ten mintues to process each guest. I was stuck in a line for a while as there was only one agent working the desk. Overall an enjoyable stay, the conference facilities and catering were very good.

Ótimo ambiente, quarto enorme, localização proximo a estação de trem. Cafe da manha pago à parte porém muito bom. Muito bom o sistema de vedação, fica numa avenida movimentada e não se escuta nenhum barulho externo. Fica no mesmo prédio do Pullman.

O hotel é bem localizado, com um custo beneficio muito bom. Divide com o Pullman, que é a versão mais cara de hotel, as suas instalações.Próximo ao centro da cidade de Melbourne e ao lado ao Lago de Albert Park. Perto de restaurantes e supermercado.
