Hotel credit not honoured

Our 3 night booking in March was reluctantly cancelled due to a death in the family, and while not refundable, I was assured that I could use the credit at the hotel next time we were in Melbourne which I was more than happy with. I have not been able to do this and despite calling and emailing 20+ times since March 2025 I have received nothing but run arounds, hang ups and incompetence from both this hotel and Accor customer service. It really shouldn't be that hard to look up my name and original booking, and apply the credit to a new reservation - yet somehow it is an impossible task.

Dissapointed no luck this this time 🫩

2 nights stay for the lron Man event St Kilda. Staff were lovely beds comfy usual buffet breakfast ordered poached eggs delivered to the wrong table. Didnt dine at their restaurant. Had light meal at the bar loved that.

We had a great return visit to Pullman Albert Park. Every staff person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. A seamless arrival when our bags were taken from us as we walked in and whisked up to our room was a great start to our visit. As a Platinum Accor member and return visitor we got a lovely upgrade to a room on the 9th floor with views out towards the Park, City and Ocean. The buffet Breakfast in Windows restaurant had a very good range to choose from as well as great coffee and omelettes. The staff in the restaurant are very professional and helpful. It is located just outside the city with easy access to the city and other places via the tram line. Overall we had a great stay and it’s my go to hotel in Melbourne as it is close to the family I visit and I like the service I receive and the location. We will return .

Mercure/Pullman Albert Park Service is terrible

Today they forgot to do the room service, and I found that we did not have the drinking water. Mercure Albert Park Concierge claimed that they wont supply drinking water free but for a charge from second day of stay. I cant believe Mercure Albert Park would reject my request and ask me to fill the water myself near the Gym. I had been booking 100 nights a year with Accor in 2025 including 7 hotels in Melbourne, every hotel provide water everyday, Fairmont would even know your door at 8am to ask if you need more water. Platinum Member and will be upgrade to Dimond after this stay.

Inicialmente fiquei preocupado com a localização por estar distante do centro porem o acesso via tram é rápido e fácil (utilize o ponto localizado na St. Kilda Road, distante 2 quarteirões do hotel, com diversas opções de tram). Hotel passou por recente reforma para se adequar aos padrões Pullman. Áreas amplas e bem cuidadas com ótimas opções para alimentação (restaurante, coffee shop e lobby bar). Quarto limpo, bastante funcional com mesa de trabalho e bons equipamentos. Banheiro poderia ter melhor iluminação mas é confortável com amenidades de banho Roger&Gallet. O atendimento é excelente, um dos maiores diferenciais do hotel, destaque para a equipe de recepção e concierge. Café da manhã muito bom com variedade de pães, cereais e sucos naturais.
