Also could not use the pool was under maintenance. If we had been told my have not booked the room.

When we arrived we saw the pool was out of action for the whole week of our stay. We were not told of this and when we asked for alternatives to be arranged the receptionist was slightly rude (although the initial issue was not her fault). It was arranged for us to use the Mantra’s pool which was great and their reception staff were lovely, but the Sebel could have offered this prior to us enquiring that the amenities were not available as advertised. Discussion of a refund and support to rebook elsewhere was shut down immediately. Additionally, the wifi disconnected after the second night and did not come back on.

We agree that we could have been more proactive in offering alternative arrangements, such as access to the nearby pool, rather than waiting for guests to enquire about available options. We are pleased that access to the alternative pool was arranged and that you had a positive experience with the staff there. However, we are sorry to hear that your interactions with our reception team did not meet the standard of service you expected. While we appreciate your acknowledgment that the situation itself was beyond the receptionist's control, we regret that you felt your concerns regarding alternative accommodation and potential compensation were not given the consideration they deserved. We also apologize for the Wi-Fi issues you experienced after the second night of your stay. Reliable connectivity is an important part of the guest experience, and we understand the inconvenience this caused. Stay at The Sebel Noosa was disappointing due to several maintenance and operational issues affecting comfort and safety. The property showed signs of poor general upkeep, with multiple areas appearing run down and not consistent with expected standards. A more serious concern was the condition of several gates within the complex, which were difficult to open and close. On multiple occasions this led to fingers being caught or strained, and I observed similar incidents affecting other guests. Noise was also an issue, either from traffic on nearby roads or from continuous operation of water features feeding the pools and landscaping, running from around 8am to 8pm daily without prior notice. The car park also had visible water ingress and leaks, further reinforcing concerns around overall maintenance. Overall, while the location is strong, the stay was impacted by recurring maintenance and safety issues, along with noise disturbances that appear consistent with other guest feedback. There is little visible evidence that these concerns have been meaningfully addressed beyond routine upkeep.

Pool closed, renovations being done all day, not told about these before arriving. Thought we’d give it another go after previous times being put in noisy rooms and waiting around for maintenance.

The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The only wish is that the spa was adults only at least for 1 hour each day. It would make it more attractive to use.
