We stayed at the Sebel for 1 night. We arrived after 1 pm and we’re told that the room would be available at 2 pm - which we didn’t have a problem as it was the standard check in time. However we requested for a late check and we told that it was not possible as the room was booked. The person at the desk didn’t make much of an effort to check if she could accomodate the request. Just told us no. Our room was barely used and required minimal cleaning. As a result we missed out on an opportunity to spend an hour or so at the beach. It was too inconvenient to do this without access to shower facilities etc. Pity as it was a beautiful day. My partner told me later that the person at the hotel could’ve let us have a later check out if she really wanted to. I felt exactly the same. Disappointing - we paid over $800 for a night’s stay in a room which was mostly in utilised in a hotel which was under renovation. The person in question had the audacity to ring me on my mobile at 12 pm to ask if we had vacated the room. If she’d bothered to check with the cleaning staff, she would’ve known that we had left the room and taken our baggage at 10 am - one hour before the ‘official’ check out time. A little bit of grace & consideration would’ve gone a long way.

Great apartment and so easy to get to the beach and restaurants. Loved the spa bath but feel room should be given another bath mat towel - one for shower and one for bath. I understand covid would have changed the room cleaning schedule but I think now it is safe enough that it can be changed back. There’s no way those little soap tubes is enough for anyone until cleaning on 4th day. Would like to come back during peak and see it when the renovations are finished

Stayed in a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment. Despite asking if the apartment was musty at the time of booking and being told it was not, the apartment had a very musty smell, and carpet was damp near the bathroom.

We hit the jackpot with the weather, a southerly is the best wind for Noosa and we also had blue skies and the ocean was 24 degrees (in May) The room at the back had a great view of the bend in the river, the room itself was very comfortable. If you want some Cons, you could say the TV must only be 40" and only has free to air and Foxtel. Also every second morning we got the garbage trucks around 7am for 10 minutes. But given location, room and friendly nature of reception (not to mention Accor rewards) - I will be back. Note also, a great (discounted) breakfast just down the road using the Accor Rewards

Our stay was enjoyable. Upon check-in we were informed the room we had booked was unavailable due to air conditioning issues and unfortunately the only other 2-bedroom available was a less convenient and smaller room. The team were great in providing the explanation (Annie) and detailing the solution, that aside however we were a little disappointed with the room as we were looking forward to being close to the pool. Overall the hotel is very well positioned, however quite dated. Great that the renovations have commenced however I would not point to the exterior as the highest priority and rather the internals and pool that need the most attention. We’ve stayed at RACV, Mantra and Seahaven in Noosa over the last 12months and would rate them all higher in terms of room fit out and facilities over Sebel (all at a similar price point). For such a great location if the rooms were improved in quality it would be an unbeatable hotel. That said, John and team were impeccable in their service. When staying at Mantra we went a full week without speaking with a single staff member (check-in and check-out only) not the case at Sebel. John hosted us at hotel drinks and was impressively hospitable- gave the overall experience a great feel.

Well located

Room was Good but in need of renovation. Patio doors very hard to open. Location of room above the garbage bin and lane way had drinkers passing until 3 am and the garbage truck arrived at 5.30 am EVERY morning and took 10 minutes to load by which time further sleep was futile.

Room was old and tired, location was amazing. I appreciate that extra effort may currently be placed on sanitising surfaces in rooms, but noted timber blinds were extremely dusty. Sofa in our room (413) was terribly stained and in need of a steam clean. Apartment smelt musty and damp. Our room was next to the children's pool area and probably not an ideal allocation for guests with only one 17yo child, perhaps it could be reserved for those booking with younger children because the noise coming from the area was loud and early in the day (and we stayed in a cooler month of the year). Reception staff were extremely friendly. Recycling tub in laundry is a fabulous initiative.

We come to Hasting Street, Noosa at least 3-4 times each year and have stayed at various hotels either with the whole family or just my husband and I. The Sebel Noosa is all you would want for a week away - central location, easy parking, great pool and gardens, fabulous "home away from home" apartments and a great team of staff looking after your every need. We will definitely be back for another amazing week at Noosa, it never gets old visiting our favourite location to recharge our batteries.

Staff were very accommodating where they could. We were not aware of the construction around the perimeter of the building. We woke up 3 mornings to find plastic colourbond wrapping by the pool. No privacy at all in bedroom and by the pool as tradespeople were peering in. Lastly we booked transport from hotel to airport. We organised with reception 72hours prior to our flight. Transport never came. We had to book an Uber ourselves, costing way above our original quoted fair after 7 cancellations. This trip was for our honeymoon. Sadly the accomodation was very disappointing due to the work going on. Staff helped with a room upgrade, however still very little privacy and disappointing.

We found the room clean, not sure about the bath in the bedroom! No room service anymore. Gowns would b nice! It worked well for us, plenty of room to move around. The kitchen was well set up.

Well postioned accommodation. Reasonably clean. Construction/maintenance occurring. No food on site. Chargeback to Aromas Cafe is provided by the hotel. Can be very noisy in the evening on the Hastings Street side. Sofitel within 200m. Excellent breakfast for $39 for 2 people as ALL members. Grace Thomas was very kind in reception.

Beest location. Staff were all excellent. From check in to maintainance to cleaners, everyone was ready to help. Room was clean, size good for our family. Pool was nice. Slightly small but temp was nice and kids had so much fun. Free parking was convinient but spaces were tight for a big car. My sisters room had power issues but it was quickly resolved. Overall, we will definitely come back. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

The Sebel definitely doesn't disappoint and offers one of the best positions in Noosa with very spacious and immaculately presented rooms. Just footsteps from everything and staff are super friendly. The heated pool and daybeds are a great bonus and I can definitely recommend the rooms overlooking it.

Great location to stay; right on Hastings St & metres from beach. Nice size 1 bedroom apartment with good amenities. We were disappointed that the room was only serviced every 4 days as we paid a high price over New Year period.
