We have stayed at The Sebel Noosa Heads many times over the years, primarily for its unbeatable location, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the overall convenience it offers. However, on this visit, it became quite noticeable that the rooms are starting to feel tired and in need of an update to remain competitive with nearby properties. The furniture, particularly the lounge suite and outdoor seating, was not very comfortable, to the point where we often found ourselves sitting on the bed instead. This detracted from what is otherwise a relaxing and enjoyable stay. On this occasion, we stayed in a one-bedroom unit overlooking Hastings Street, a room type we have chosen before. While it sits above venues like Aroma’s and Bang Bang, we actually prefer this position as it is removed from the pool area, which can become quite noisy and rowdy at times. We also experienced some issues with housekeeping during this stay. Our room was missed for cleaning on a couple of occasions, requiring us to follow up, and as a result, it was not serviced until the following day. While not a major issue, it did impact the overall experience. Despite its excellent location and our long-standing loyalty to the property, we feel that some attention to room updates and service consistency would significantly enhance the experience moving forward. Given the current condition, we would need to think carefully before choosing to stay here again on our next visit to Noosa, particularly as there are now more modern accommodation options available in the area.
