Low quality hotel

The hotel is situated close to the Airport, so only a few km transfer. Unfortunately the hotel is low quality in all areas. No sound proofing between rooms. No good bed. No ventilation, or A/C. Horribly poor breakfast. Staff in reception are friendly and welcoming, so not all is bad in the hotel!

The location is great, the parking is convenient and the fact that the hotel is next to a big mall is really convenient. I’ve stayed in the hotel many times over the years. The place could do with a bit of a makeover. It’s starting to look tired. The team is good and everything works as it should but there are some small issues that prevent the experience getting a 10. The welcome we received from the team member on reception was not friendly. It felt like we were inconveniencing him. There were posters everywhere promoting a lunchtime and evening buffet and we asked if we had to book, were told no and then discovered it wasn’t even happening. This was a bummer since we’d invited family to join us. There was no regular black tea. Lots of fancy infusions but no regular tea. I had to buy and use my own. The breakfast buffet was swiftly cleared at 1000 on the Sunday of our stay. That felt a bit rushed. On several occasions the breakfast food was cold when it shouldn’t have been. These are not huge issues but ones that just got in the way of feeling that this had been a great experience.
