ibis Styles Paris Pigalle Montmartre Hotel 3 stars

This property has an urgent need for rennovation. The rooms are old, the furniture has begun to peel off in bathroom and in the room in general as well. The carpet in the room is cmopletely dirty and the same happens in the floor's corridor as well. I will never choose again this hotel for my staying in Paris.

Great location, comfortable room. Welcoming staff on reception. Unacceptable attitude of staff at breakfast. WiFi so slow as to be non-existent.

I enjoy the ability to check in online, arrival at the hotel was easy. It is a shame the hotel had not taken the extra care regarding the strikes and made contact with me. Each restaurant I had booked made the effort so I might have expected something from the hotel. Breakfast was good as is usual for ibis styles but the instant cheap coffee and kettle was not something I would take advantage of. 100% of Staff were pleasant. The bedroom was snug, the bathroom door did not close and the old radiators were a bit of an eyesore. The bath had significant rusted chips, tiles around the bath were missing and cracked- not lots but there nevertheless. I think the biggest issue was the toilet door. Rooms were well serviced and cleaned as good as they could be but the corridor outside the room had a stained carpet. I also had to vault cables from vacuum cleaners and rubbish bags every time I called in or out of the room.

The stay was below my expectations. The room looked like a cheap love hotel and super small.

Our room was quite small but it was clean and comfortable which is all that mattered to us. The staff were all very freindly and helpful, the continental breakfast was also very good with a decent choice fruit, cereals, pastries and yogurts, more than enough to start your day. The hotel itself is in Pigalle so there are plenty of bars and restaurants within close proximity, the metro is also just 2 minutes away and you can find yourself in the centre of twon within 15 minutes. The Sacre Couer is also walkable as is the Moulin Rouge. We enjoyed our stay and would use it again in the future.

The hotel is close to the monmarte district and only 2 minutes walking from the Pigalle metro stop. It is I a street where are multiple bars so the street is pretty crowded and noise in the evening. Fortunately the hotel has really good soundproof windows :) The room itself is basic and clean. A basic breakfast is included but the breakfast area is really small so out can be crowded.

We really enjoyed the experience, rooms were adequate, staff were friendly but the internet was either non existent or poor. With many people accessing the internet for planning their next days activities, communicating with friends and family back home or keeping abreast with happenings internet access is essential. We were only lucky that for a few hours each night we were able to connect to local restaurant across the road to do all of these things, so for 5 nights we were limited to doing this as the hotel internet was not accessible and needed to be upgraded significantly.

The area around the hotel is lively and exciting for people watching. The only issue was the bad wifi connection in the room and lobby area.

The location was great, the breakfast was adequate and the use of space was great. The majority of the staff however let the brand down. The unwillingness to go out of their way to understand us (we know we're in France), was only exacerbated when a day later we hear the staff speaking fluent English... Even though this was an issue for them upon our arrival.
