All good, except the bartender (girl) at Beach bar making some comments on the free drinks coupons and not serving my second drink.

I would like management to be aware of one of your staff members who made my stay memorable! Sasalak Aum is an asset to the Accor brand , her English is fluid , professional, polite & nothing is to much for her to make your stay comfortable! I would have no hesitation in recommending Sasalak for her work @ Mercure Koh Chang & wish her best wishes for her future with Accor ~ 🙏

A real hide away

Mercure Koh Chang is a real hide away! Located a 45 minutes drive from the ferry terminal on the west coast. They have a small, almost private, secluded beach that they share with another small accommodation. On the opposite side of the road of the hotel there are some nice inexpensive restaurants, massage parlour, a mini market and a laundry. If you want more action you can rent a motorbike og take a shared taxi to the more busy areas along the road. The hotel itself is really nice, but in need of a renovation… On site restaurant with tables near the beach, also a coffee shop and a bar near the beach. Staff is friendly but not all of them speaks english, but we had no problem making us understood :-) There are no umbrellas or sunshades around the pool so you have to find shadow under the trees. Limited number of sun beds on the beach, but they have umbrellas. Due to my Accor membership, and status, we were upgraded to a very nice private pool villa. The private pool villas are totally secluded so no one can see you splashing around naked in your pool :-))
