I recently stayed at Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway from 20–22 March 2026, and overall, I had a pleasant and relaxing experience. As an Accor Platinum member, I was pleased to receive a room upgrade from Deluxe Seaview to Pool Villa, along with well-recognized member benefits such as welcome drinks. The recognition of status was appreciated. The resort atmosphere was calm and not overly crowded despite being high season, which made the stay more enjoyable. The property also offers many nice photo spots and a relaxing environment. Food and beverage quality was good, especially the Thai cuisine, which I found very enjoyable. The ALL member dining discount added good value. Breakfast offered a wide variety, with a strong focus on Thai dishes. I also appreciated the Happy Hour promotion and the fire show held on selected evenings, which enhanced the overall guest experience. One area for improvement would be the beach, as it is quite rocky and not ideal for swimming. In addition, the water temperature in the room was somewhat inconsistent and could be improved for better comfort. The staff were friendly and responsive when assistance was needed, which I appreciated. Overall, the hotel offers good value for Accor members in terms of benefits, points, and overall experience. I would consider returning in the future.

We got free upgrade to seaview rooms due to some unexpected conditons of our rooms. Every staffs is friendly and helpful. Excellence service. We enjoyed the breakfast time. Private beach to relax with a lot of tree shades. We will definitely come back again.

Although the location is near the far end of the island, the staff’s service was excellent. They were very attentive—especially helpful because we travelled with an elderly person.
