I would definitely recommend anyone going to Koh Chang to stay at this Hotel as it is extremely affordable and has great service. There was need for improvement for Internet / Wifi connection, this impacted me a lot as I was working remotely. And the rooms need renovation as they seem a little outdated. Otherwise the food, service and staff were always on toes to assist and has a very beautiful beach on the property with unreal beauty.

The whole experience of Koh Chang is great. From the car ferry from the mainland to the relaxed island atmosphere. Mercure Hideaway is an idealic location with direct beach access, great pool, wonderful dining and friendly staff. Couldn’t ask for a more relaxed, beautiful holiday location. Third time visiting and will visit again!

Even before we arrived, we had a very pleasant contact with the hotel. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a little bit far of the way, so it's quieter, which we really liked. The Resort/complex is not too big and they make an effort to maintain and update it. We had a villa with a pool, the facilities/furnuture are a little basic and showing their age. However, the service and hospitality at the front office with Marc and his colleagues more than wonderful and helpful.

We had a fantastic one week stay at the hotel in late November. We spent all day at the beach front, the pool is excellent. It’s a resort style, very quiet, secluded on its own part of the beach. Great views of the beach and sunset every day. The rooms are really nice, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is renovated and kept very well. There’s 2 big swimming pool, the beach is very beautiful. I’ve been to many accor hotels but the food quality of this hotel is just great. From drinks to food, you can see that they really use good ingredients and effort to make it taste great. We had many meals inside the hotel, the breakfast is top notch. It’s excellent value for money. Thank you to all the kind and amazing staff, k. Aud, k. Cream, k. Beer and everyone else. They are excellent. We will be back.

We enjoyed our room, comfortable bed good staff and great housekeeper Maew. We didnt use the restaurant other than our breakfast included as the prices for food and drinks is very very high, we also felt like the rules around bringing our own drinks and food to the beach was ridicules so we often just travelled off the property to go to other beaches. We felt like for the amount we paid the property could have all the water features working and be a bit more updated as its a bit dated. Overall we enjoyed sleeping there and didnt use much else other than our room and breakfast.
