This hotel has a very strange policy when it comes to check-out. I’ve stayed at many Accor properties and have never experienced anything like this—where staff insist on checking the room before allowing a guest to leave, making you wait in the process. At check-out, a front desk staff member named MILK asked me to wait five minutes with a visibly unfriendly attitude. I expressed that I had never encountered such a practice at any other Accor hotel. She then said everything was settled—but that wasn’t true, as I had consumed a bottle of Coke. She never contacted or messaged housekeeping to confirm anything. Lying to a guest like this is simply unacceptable. Later, the front desk manager, NETT, told me that this is standard procedure at their property. I asked, “If that’s the case, why didn’t you take a deposit or open my credit card at check-in?” They couldn’t provide a clear explanation, as no such step was taken and I was never informed of this policy. I’m not sure if this strange procedure is unique to this hotel, but Accor should ensure that all their properties, especially those serving loyal members, follow consistent and transparent practices.

i had an overnight stay at the Mecure Bangkok Makkasan i am a gold member of Accor i was upgraded the room was excellent the staff extremely helpful especially PLoy she was amazing greeting me always with a smile and asking if everything was ok went to mbk shopping mall and meet friends for dinner at another hotel would defineatly stay again Highly reccommend this hotel is out of town a bit but transport easy to get

The hotel good and bad point is its location, it is near to the Makkasan AirPort Express Station. The hotel decor feel luxurious, room are adequately sized and all amenities are available. The bed is soft and the duvet is heavy, shower is strong even on the 22nd floor, Aircon is cold too. All make for a good night sleep ! The breakfast had a decent spread and yummy Thai food, egg station, noodles station, breads of all kind, fruits, salad, etc. Now on to the bad points. 1. Information on getting to the hotel is limited, I managed to find a YouTube video on how to get to the hotel from Makkasan Station, but it lack an important aspect which is to call the hotel for the transfer. During peak hour, prepare to wait for the transfer as it could take as long as 30 mins which happened to me. 2. Morning transfer, if you’re in a hurry to the airport, the wait for the transfer can be frustrating. 3. There are no one at the concierge, I am at lost, should I call Grab or just wait ? To be fair, traffic jam is beyond the hotel’s control BUT they could have manage the transportation better. I recommend this hotel if you’re not in a hurry, as the price is reasonable and good facility.

I really wanted this hotel to be good. I chose it because it is on the airport link and I want the convenience of catching my flight without having to worry about the road traffic After travelling back-and-forth to Bangkok many times for 40 years, I have stayed in many many hotels. But this one was not one I would return to. For one, the location is awful. The walk to get out of the station entrance exiting the airport entrance is a very long walk - and then it is very difficult to cross the road to get to the side where the hotel is. It is almost a kilometre walking to the hotel and there is no pavement - quite dangerous. Nor were there any taxis around. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very hot and stressed. In the room the amenities very good (generous and decent quality) - except for the tiny tables be of toothpaste! It has some kind of seal and it is impossible to break and therefore impossible to clean my teeth.. and those awful hangers that have to be hung in the wardrobe ( pet hate) - no iron and ironing board.. . Also there was no bottle opener - despite there being four drink bottles in the fridge that required a bottle opener. Checking out, I asked for a taxi to take me the short distance to the station but the driver refused to put his meter on and charge 3x the fare..Having been in Bangkok so many times (about 120 at least) I’m accustomed to this tactic for tourists. But in the middle of the day in a suburb of Bangkok, I do not expect to be ripped off.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location if you need to be close to the Airport Link. There is a free Shuttle Tuk tuk to Petchaburi MRT. Wide choice for breakfast and delicious food choices for the a la carte Restaurant. Pool on the 10th floor with bar next to it.
