Hosted our daughter’s birthday party at The Mercure, Swansea on Saturday. What a fabulous time was had by all! The function room was lovely, the buffet was so good (and plentiful), and DJ Darren was superb - the dance floor was full all night long. He contacted us beforehand to discuss music and he was an absolute pleasure to work with on the night too. From the time of my initial enquiry with Julia to my calls with Rachel, Kelly at the bar and even the gentleman that helped at the end of the evening everything, and everyone were superb. Helpful and pleasant to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. Rachel in particular was excellent at making suggestions on room layout, buffet etc. she was a star! I would 100% host an event at The Mercure again, our event could not have gone any better. We are absolutely delighted with how the party went, memories that we will remember forever. The members of staff we dealt with are all a credit to the organisation. Well done guys, and thank you!

We were given a room upstairs which we requested but when we saw it it was dated and smelly we had stayed before and the room was amazing which is why we booked again. We were moved to a better room which was lovely. The guy on reception was amazing as was the bar staff especially a young girl who I think was called Connie the chef cooked an amazing breakfast. We will definitely be back but we won't be starting in the dated rooms
