Wow what a renovation! As an ALL Platinum I was upgraded to a massive suite as has happened here twice before, but I didn't know it was undergoing renovation and I wasn't prepared for the excellent job they've done of the room redecoration - from being frankly a bit grotty in the past this top floor suite is now absolutely gorgeous - they've even got USB-C as well as USB-A chargers in the plugs, the first time I've seen this in the UK. Alex on reception was super-helpful getting me an early check-in and late check-out too. From this being a slight hotel preference when I'm in Manchester it's now shot to the top of the pack. Well done whoever green-lit this, it's now an absolutely fantastic hotel.

everything was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. dinner was lovely, breakfast had a great spread. only slight disappointment was coffee at breakfast. One of those self service, push the button machines. The quality of coffee isn't great, and the machine would frequently run out of coffee/milk etc

Excellent location, close to station and city centre. Staff helpful and friendly. Overall very disappointed for a four star hotel. Room tired, bathroom had paint falling off tiles, shower leaked, no bathroom extraction. Room was cold, heating did not work. Would not consider staying here again.

Had a comfortable overnight stay. Well located and within walking distance to the AO arena for the event we attended. The room was clean and tidy with the expected amenities. All staff were polite and professional
