I stayed here for one night and upon arrival I arrived immediately behind a large party. They were taking ages and I was getting annoyed. The guy behind reception came over and offered me a glass of Prosecco. Another staff member then arrived, called Raj. He was excellent at service recovery and was really good at checking me in and offering me a drinks voucher and free breakfast. I was in my room quickly and I was impressed at how nice the room was and it was large. The room was quiet with a good view of the city centre. Breakfast next morning was good with some really nice staff, especially the lady checking people in for breakfast and the chef. The hotel has clearly undergone some improvement with reception now being on the ground floor and the rooms being updated. I would return.

Great welcome at reception by Ben who made a really good impression and a wonderful start to a weekend with my granddaughter… Thank you Ben for being so helpful and kind , my granddaughter is in the city for a competition and the cherry on the cake is that she’s a city fan ⚽️

We booked a last minute Valentine night stay. The hotel is a central city hotel, with great views from your room, especially in the evening when the city comes alive. Plus side is there is on-site parking (charges) which is rare in Manchester. Reception staff were very welcoming. We arrived a little early but our room was available. Unfortunately there was a couple of issues with the room. I went down to Reception and spoke to the two Receptionists Ellie & Becky. They were both extremely professional in the way that they handled and quickly resolved the situation ensuring we had such a wonderful Valentine stay.

We had very loud neighbours and made a complaint at half 1 in the morning and we did get moved rooms which we initially appreciated, however once we were in the room we noticed that not only was it a smaller room but the bathroom door did not shut properly, the TV didn't work and there was a peculiar smell. Also It Isn't very clear that the car park was £20 per night. The staff were helpful and welcoming but we would not choose to stay again.
