Aparthotel Adagio Koeln City

It is very well equipped property with dishwasher and kitchen facilities if you want to cook. Location is great to explore the city. From the hotel, we enjoyed walking along the river as well as shopping street areas. There is a Japanese buffet next door you should try. Also, supermarket is about 5 minute walk…super convenient! Only checking in process we were not happy about as we had to wait longer than checking in time.

The room was much larger than it looked online. This is usually the opposite . Apartment room was self contained which can be handy. A kettle would have been a handy addition to a myriad of other appliances/ utensils. The bed was in the firm side which l actually prefer. If there was one thing to fault it would be the level of cleanliness. Hygiene is a high priority for me and l believe the apartment can be better presented and much cleaner. Check in was smooth and the gentleman that served me was very nice and pleasant . PS. I did not receive A welcome drink voucher at this hotel.

Stayed at yhe Adagio for 2 nights. Arrived and hotel is very bright, clean & modern. Asked for a room with a bath & staff changed us no problem. Rooms are spacious and will equipped. Handy location, only 5/10mins walk to centre & hotel really quiet at night so a great night's rest is guaranteed.

We stayed here as a family of four with two children, 16 and 19. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is very central to all Christmas markets. Lots of places to eat nearby and the town 10 minutes walk. The check in was a little slow as everyone turned up at the same time, and the receptionist didn’t seem too worried about the long queue. The room was good, one bedroom with two beds and a sofa bed and put you up bed in the other room. In the kitchen, we didn’t cook, but did use the kettle in the fridge The lounge with the two beds was quite cramped for four adults, but we didn’t spend much time in there. The TV in the lounge didn’t work and we did have the receptionist come and have a look who were then going to speak to the manager but we didn’t chase it I would definitely recommend this hotel for a central base. There is a lift, although on Hotels.com, it states there is no lift. We parked underground and the lift took us to reception or our floor. Unfortunately The hotel cannot reserve you a parking space so it’s potluck.

Excellent location, 15 min walk from station and close to the river. Close to all the Christmas markets which is what we went for. Also close by are a supermarket and a number of lovely restaurants and cafes. Plus the main shopping centre if you needed it. Apartment was clean and they had a few gadgets such as coffee machines (2 types), kettle, dishwasher. There was a grill but were told not to use it as it sets off the fire alarm! You may use the microwave but only for warming things up, according to the instructions. Two tvs but only local stations which we were fine with but if you are stuck in the room for any reason, others may be unhappy. Also wi-fi wasn't reliable unfortunately but we could hotspot so again, we were OK with this. People on reception were absolutely lovely, extremely well mannered and informative. Room was quite small for four of us- 3 adults and one almost-adult but the second 'bedroom' was seperate, as was rhe kitchen which made it feel more spacious. Also lots of storage space.
