Good location and the resort could almost be rated 4.5 stars rather than 4.0. Just be aware that if you book more than one night with stay plus promo, the breakkie option doesn’t apply to the free night.

Dear Andrew, We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the resort. It was very pleasing to see there were aspects of your stay that were enjoyable. I am sorry however that some areas did not meet your expectations. Your free night doesn't include breakfast unfortunately,. but you do receive your standard discount. For more information on your membership and inclusions, you can visit the Accor Plus website, wherein all your terms and conditions are available. Yeh location of Fairmont is beautiful, however the food choices are minimal and sub-standard, especially breakfast which was way overcrowded, we couldn’t get a table and in the end wasn’t even worth lining up for. Sublime bar has very underrated dinner choices. Bathrooms old and need updating

Ok trip but only for a family

Poor checkin experience. We were told the room was not ready (understandable) and then given no information about hotel facilities or activities - we were travelling with 2 young children during holidays. When we got the call that our room was ready, our key was at the concierge who was very busy and gave key without any info, I assume they woudl have expected reception to do this. We managed to do some activities, but had missed out on booking some in as they were sold out and the process was unclear. Dined at embers and the Italian restaurant- disappointing to see no children activity packs. Italian was great and fast service. Embers was disappointing, we had reserved 2 days prior to arrival but were seated in the breakfast section. Kids burgers were still red so sent back and had to wait 45min for them to come back out, the kids had then shared ours and were not hungry. Rooms are satisfactory, but in need of renovation. Breakfast was chaotic, food was ok however, difficult to access as the line was out the door and we were seated 2 rooms away from the buffet in the function area.
