it was very under whelming stay. The food options were limited. More than half the amenities were closed. There was no room service. Had to make multiple requests just to get fresh towels. Will avoid staying here again

I have stayed at the Fairmont on many occasions over the years and love the hotel and beautiful property. I was a little disappointed with the dining options because of the restrictions. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Embers one night. However I would have thought that the room service menu should be available at the bar or around the pool. The staff were really good. Friendly and efficient on all occasions. The concierge were extremely helpful with suggestions for bush walks.

We had a very relaxing stay at the Fairmont. The grounds at the resort are immaculately maintained and picturesque. Unfortunately a lot of the activities at the Fairmont were unavailable due to COVID-19, but it is clear that there are usually a wide range of activities for all guests. All staff members that we encountered were exceptional - we have never felt so welcomed at a resort before. From the reception staff, to the concierge and waiters/waitresses, they were all extremely accommodating. Overall, we were very impressed with the resort and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. Staff are very friendly and efficient, room was immaculate. The hotel is following COVIDSafe safe principles to the letter. All staff are wearing masks and where appropriate gloves. As guests leave tables in the bar/ restaurants, chairs and tables are wiped down with disinfectant. Our meal in the restaurant was excellent, very enjoyable. Breakfast up to the same high standard.

Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. The hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly and the food in the restaurant was amazing. The staff are very diligent in adhering to COVIDSafe practices. Tables and chairs in bar and restaurants are wiped down with disinfectant after every occupant, rooms are very clean and comfortable. We will be back.

I booked a Luxury Escape several months before the booked weekend, but still got the least attractive rooms, view wise. The room configuration was strange with the lounge looking at the bed, not the TV. Don't know what the purpose of having the lounge face the bed means! The grounds are lovely. The included breakfast was very good - full marks for the wait staff. The grounds enabled a short enjoyable stroll.

The Fairmont is a great resort for families, but not all about the kids. They have great food options and restaurants and a bar that is all very kid friendly.

The foyer is grand and memorable however the impressions end there. The breakfast was not enjoyable, we declined our breakfast on the second day. When phoning reception or room service the phone rang out on more than one call/need. Sound proofing in the rooms could be improved. Could hear noise from both adjoining rooms and from the hallway.

Unexpected trip to attend a funeral, the staff were really lovely and the room clean and comfy. So nice to be able to dine in for a late dinner, unfortunately we should have pre booked a spot for breakfast due to covid limitations (room service breaky is not so nice in cardboard boxes but thats covid for you) We missed out on a spa room but the bath was great and the bed quite luxurious. We would definitely return!

Had a very restful three nights with welcome gift on arrival for 60th birthday. Food at restaurant was very good including breakfasts and night dining. Not stayed at Fairmont before but will recommend. I particularly enjoyed the view to the mountain which holds special memories for me.
