Good proximity to airport. Clean room. Bed was comfortable although the bed was so slim, it was like a coffin without a lid and I’m a very slim size 10!! Good selection at breakfast and so well worth the price of €14.50. Lots of seating area which is great waiting within the hotel as opposed to waiting in the cold uncomfortable airport. The shuttle comes every 4 minutes. What is also useful is having all the flight information displayed at reception.

This hotel was not a great way to end our vacation in France. We felt like we were put in a dark, dingy basement. The toilet room needs to be deodorized. The hotel was easy to get to from Terminal E. The breakfast was good, but maybe you would be happier if you requested a room on the upper floors.

Inside CDG. The location is excellent and easily accessible from the terminal. We strongly recommend this hotel for those with late or early departures and arrivals due to its reasonable price.

Nothing huge to say but the room felt dirty. Towels gray.. very very convenient to the airport. People were very nice. I wouldn't stay there again unless I had to.

Let Down by Ibis Charles de Gaulle – A Low Point in Our France Trip

This was my first stay at an Ibis hotel—and most likely my last. I’m writing this from an uncomfortably warm room in Paris, in early May, during a week when temperatures have consistently been in the upper 20s to low 30s Celsius—unusually hot for this time of year. When we arrived, the room felt like a sauna. We turned on the air conditioning, but quickly realized it wasn’t working. After checking with the front desk, we found the staff visibly sweating and fanning themselves. They explained that it’s hotel policy not to activate the AC until June. Frankly, I find this policy out of touch with current climate realities. Shouldn’t decisions about cooling be based on actual temperatures, not arbitrary dates? Guests’ comfort should come first—especially in the face of increasingly unpredictable weather. It’s disappointing that the hotel seems unwilling to adapt or prioritize guest experience.
