Nice stay shame they couldn’t offer a late check out our flight was at 9 pm so had whole day!

The hotel is nice compact no shops nearby had to get taxi use free now app best price as standard taxis charge a lot rooms compact no halal food sadly available so was restricted to wat could eat disneyland half an hr away taxi 65euro house keeping every day without fail which was good wanted room service but no answer kept ringing

The hotel is conveniently located within CDG airport in Paris. The staff was superb and most generous with their time to serve guests. Rooms were spotless and dining was surprisingly good. We will rebook this hotel upon our next trip to Paris.

Beware of the shuttle bus and taxis arranged by the Novotel staff

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of our holiday and both times had trouble with the shuttle bus from the airport. The first time we went to the place the bus was supposed to arrive about 5 minutes ahead of time, but the bus never came. We waited about 40 minutes with another family who were also waiting for the same bus. They tried calling the hotel, but got no useful help. In the end, we persuaded another bus to take us to the hotel, but they took us to a different Novotel. The Novotel staff then hired us a taxi to Novotel Villepintes - only 2.1km away - and the taxi drivers charged us 25 Euros per taxi. This was the last thing we needed after a 14 hour flight from Japan with two small children. When we finally arrived at Novotel Villepintes, we were offered no apology or explanation for why the bus hadn’t come. At the end of our holiday the shuttle bus did actually turn up (about 10 minutes late). We were lucky enough to get on, but another family were unable to as there was not enough room and the hotel would only send one bus (I noted that other hotels send multiple buses to the same bus stop). The family had had assurances from the hotel that they would be picked up and had been waiting for some time, but in the end they were left stranded at the airport. In the morning after we arrived at the beginning of the trip, we asked the reception staff to book a taxi to Paris Montparnasse Station. They told us if we booked with them in advance, it would be 65 Euros, implying that this was a good rate. In the end, the taxi was 75 Euros. On our way back at the end of the trip, we did the same journey in reverse in an official taxi, and the rate was 58 Euros. Frankly, we felt misled and cheated. Whether or not you can blame the hotel for the taxis they called for us is perhaps debatable. However the awful shuttle bus service they provide from the airport is entirely on them. It’s a shame, because other aspects of the hotel are basically fine (although it is in the middle of nowhere with only one restaurant close by). Unless they dramatically improve their shuttle bus service, though, I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

We are sorry to read that your stay was not what you expected. We indeed encountered a few issues in the daily management of our airport shuttles including an incredible increase in the demand for this type of services. At the same time, some of the travelers carried up to 16 suitcases at the same time which made some of the seats inaccessible. The only way to satisfy the demand was to only take several passengers at a time instead of driving all of them on the same ride. It generated important delays. Please be sure that these situations are very rare and that we are doing everything in our power to reinforce this service as much as possible. First make sure you are going to the correct Novotel in Paris proper there are like 4 of them - so double check addresses. We accidentally went to the one attached to the airport when this one is actually located about 10 miles away. We took a taxi (via Free Now app) and it was about 14 Euros. There are also taxis readily available around the airport terminals wherever you end up, we just prefer the app - it's helpful if you don't speak the language well - you can drop pins on maps and pay via the app. Rooms were clean, bathroom portions were separated, toilet in one room, bath, sink and shower in another room. The toilet was about the size of an airport lavatory (maybe a bit bigger) so it is smaller if you are a larger person - though my 6'5 husband did not have an issue using it, so if you are tall should be fine. Very clean room. Power is supplied by putting your key into the slot provided. Good air-conditioning/temperature control. Nespresso provided with some pods and two tiny cookies which my 6 yo promptly ate. Beds are comfortable. We were in a room on the 3rd floor, it was quiet. Make sure you have a converter if you have devices requiring power and you don't have the same connector end, the outlets are for plug in, I did not see any USB connections in the room. They do provide family rooms (ours had 1 large bed and a smaller couch/small-twin-sized bed that our child could sleep on, it was perfect. Breakfast buffet (can be included in your stay if you add that on) was great, good diversity of food and coffee/tea options. For dinner options their bar area which also doubles as a restaurant (and breakfast buffet area in the morning) or you can go across the street to the steakhouse which has great food and good beer/wine - good option if you are just laying over with a flight the next day (which we were) - they are open until 11pm (serve food until 10:30pm I believe). Very content with our stay!
