Our flight from Paris to US was cancelled and returned to the airport mid flight, stranding 200 grumpy passengers late at night. The staff of the Mercure were so helpful and accommodating. They made a bad situation much more pleasant. The rooms were not 5 star, but they were very comfortable and well maintained. Also (though we missed the cutoff times for both dinner and breakfast) the food in their restaurant, Mademoiselle, was delicious, and led us to the BEST part of our stay: our server at the restaurant, Tony! He provided excellent service and made us laugh and laugh. He definitely lightened our mood and restarted our trip back with a much better attitude. All of the staff at the Mercure should be commended for their amazing hospitality and dedication.

A great choice for extended layovers when you miss a flight.

I stayed at the Mercure Paris CDG Airport after missing my connecting flight from Amsterdam due to thunderstorms in France. KLM offered a free hotel a couple miles away with dinner and breakfast, but the reviews were poor. So as an Accor member (Which is a Air France-KLM partner), I booked the Mercure instead and requested reimbursement later. Best decision I could have made. The hotel is on airport grounds—a huge advantage when you’ve already had a long day. From Terminal 2, I took the free CDGVAL train (Line 1) to Parking PR, then walked about 6–7 minutes via a mostly covered walkway. Total time from the hotel to the terminal: about 15–20 minutes. Staff was friendly and upgraded me to a Superior Room with breakfast thanks to my Accor Live Limitless Gold status. The room was spacious, comfortable, and absolutely quiet thanks to great soundproofing. I saw planes taking off but didn’t hear a thing. The room had a large smart TV (50-inch or more), Netflix, YouTube, and a very comfortable bed. I slept a solid eight hours and was ready to go the next day. Dinner was good but a bit pricy, and service starts at 7 p.m., which felt late after a long day. There weren’t many options to eat at CDG so I just stayed there. Breakfast was excellent with a mix of American, English, and continental options, plus crepes and cold cuts. Would I stay here again? Yes. I’ve been to Paris before, but this wasn’t that kind of trip—and the weather was terrible. Plus, downtown Paris is about 40 minutes by train from CDG, so this was the practical choice. If you miss a flight, arrive on a redeye, or need an stress-free last night near CDG, stay on airport grounds. Mercure delivered exactly what I needed.

PERFECT trip with a lot of facilities for children.welcome drinks, play area, gifts. roomgood. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and always willing to help with a smile. It’s clear that guest comfort and satisfaction are a top priority here. A big thank you to the entire team for making us feel so at home — we’ll definitely be back!

extremely bad service !!!

check-in was terrible, the staff was untrained at all, waste me about 30 minutes to check-in. yes, 30 minutes, i couldn't imagine check-in could take this long. not waiting in the line, she was right in front of me and not know what she was doing. and the other lady standing right next to her was just watching and not trying to help at all. i have no idea what she was doing, keep pressing the keyboard and looking at the monitor, is it her problem or your system problem? i wlll DEFINITELY NOT come to this hotel again !!!!

Good location, very poor service

We used it (2 rooms, 4 people) as we had an early flight out of Terminal 1. Access from both Terminals is easy with the airport automatic train ( CDG VAL), there is a 5 / 10 minutes walk from the stations and the way is well indicated. Staff at reception was super nice and friendly, gave helpful explanations on the facilities. The rooms are clean, functional and modern. There is a tiny gym in a cupboard with only a treadmill and apartment bike. The swimming pool is OK, unattended, messy with towels flying around all over the place. Staff at the bar was rude and not eager to assist. Restaurant service was messy, we had one dish coming together with the starter, when it came back, the meat was obviously overcooked. In short, apart from check in staff and rooms, not a great experience for a first day of vacation.
