Terrible experience. I have been waiting more than an hour at Terminal 2 to get a shuttle to attend the hotel after I was told there was one. Eventually some driver told me I had to walk 15 minutes to catch a train to attend this Mercure. I was at the hotel 2 hours after I checked out my rental car and the lady at the front desk basically told me it was my fault, this Mercure had no shuttle; very useless person. Even worse at the restaurant with unpleasant staff, very low quality service; food was so-so. Then the plug in bathroom was not working and to dry our hair we had to sit on the floor in front of a mirror with a very short wire so it was constantly unplugging. I usually like Accor hotels and have an account but this time, I was really very badly treated. Never book this Mercure.

Security Issue at MERCURE PARIS CDG AIRPORT & CONVENTION

Stayed in this hotel 3 nights from 24th Nov 23. My work bagpack was stolen, at the recetpion desk, while I check in. The backpack was placed ontop of my suitcase, which was beside me, as I check in. Hotel has a small reception, with 3 staff. Many video cameras. The duty manager, after viewing the video, confirm that my backpack was stolen at the Reception. Duty manager - helped with phone to report to credit card companies. That was about all the help I receive. A police report was made to the police station. Receptionist gave me the wrong police station address and I had to run to another police station to make the report. Opposite the reception, is Business centre with 3 FAULTY Macs. Receptionist told me that the technician will service the Macs within 15mins. During my 3 days stay, the macs were not serviced. I was left helpless, as i needed my macbook , which was stolen along with the backpack, and the hotel's business centre was "handicapped". I stayed for 3 nights, i heard nothing form the management, no assistances, no concern or care. I desperately need a mac to work with, but no luck with the hotel. General Manager of the hotel, refered my case to the insurance company. Insurance company, reverted that as I have not checked in - the hotel is not responsible fo the theft. That was absolutely rediculous. Theft occured in hotel premise, at the reception, yet hotel is not responsible. Hotel has several cameras but no security personel. Hotel Review: Hotel is 4 star, close to CGD airport. Rooms are nice and brefast is good. No other facilities outside the hotel. Middle of nowhere. hotel staff: speaks English, polite but not effective. They could not get things done. Extra pillows did not arrive til the next day. Messages to duty managers were not relayed. Mac at business centre - not working and reception noticed me trying to work on the mac yet did nothing to help. Bad and irresponsible Senior management. There are many alternative hotels nearby.

A nightmare at CDG Airport

A night at the Mercure Airport and Convention at Paris's CDG Airport, which became necessary due to a flight delay to the following day, still causes us nightmares: - An eternity of waiting for check-in due to a technical error was no desaster, but still annoying. - The smell of old fish in the aisles made sure of an inapproprate welcome. - The room was full of dirt, an unemptied garbage bin, a used paper cup on the table, long black hair in every corner, and an unflushed toilet, with literally poop in it. Overall impression: The room was in an offensive condition, which should make any hotel employee blush from shame. We are still disgusted, even though, after having to contact the All Accor customer service, who we had informed about the situation and who promised the hotel management would reach out to us, TWICE, the hotel contacted us and transferred 2,000 points to our All Accor account - a ridiculously small gesture after the horror experience we went through. To put it in a nut shell: Try to avoid this place at all costs!

Worst hotel experience ever! Reception staff are absolutely terrible! Extremely rude,unfriendly and unprofessional! Requested for a wake up call to never have received it. When inquired as to why it wasn’t given the answer was “we were busy and that I should have known since I travel frequently”. A person requests a wake up call for a reason and if the hotel is so incompetent or uninterested in giving it to their customer then there’s nothing else you can expect from them when it comes to customer service.

Unfriendly, unprofessional and racist

It's a disgrce to the name Mercure since the staff is so unfriendly, unprofessional and racist. Room service staff steal personal belongings of the guests and the hotel bare no responsibility of the action of their staff. The doors don't have a secondary lock mechanism and people walk in freely although the room is occupied. Please try an alternative hotel if you are looking for a hotel near the airport.
