Overall a Good Stay, With Excellent Staff but Some Maintenance Concerns My stay at ibis Coimbatore City Centre was overall comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed for around four days, and for the most part, the room and overall experience met expectations. That said, the first part of our stay was a little disappointing due to several room maintenance issues. The curtain mechanism was not functioning properly, there were mosquitoes in the room, the room had a somewhat pungent smell, there was dust under the bed and in some parts of the room which triggered my allergies, and the shower gel dispenser was broken. To the hotel's credit, the staff did respond to most of these concerns. When I reported the curtain issue and mosquitoes, maintenance arrived after a bit of a wait and fixed the curtain while also providing a Good Knight mosquito repellent. I managed the room odor myself with a body spray, and after reporting the dust issue, housekeeping thoroughly cleaned the room the following day. The shower gel dispenser, however, remained unresolved throughout the stay. The curtain mechanism also failed twice more during the remainder of my stay. Although staff came to fix it each time, it became frustrating enough that I eventually ended up fixing it myself. I would especially like to recognize two members of the reception team. Mr. Arjun was exceptionally considerate, friendly, and customer-focused. He patiently listened to all my concerns and personally took the time to show me alternative rooms. Although I ultimately chose to continue in the same room, his professionalism and willingness to help left a very positive impression. People like Arjun are among the biggest contributors to the success of customer-centric establishments, and he deserves special appreciation. I would also like to acknowledge another staff member who was working at reception on the morning of 2 September, wearing a black ibis T-shirt and spectacles. Unfortunately, I forgot to note down his name, but he was equally receptive and helpful regarding our concerns. He deserves full credit for his excellent attitude and support. As for food and dining, the overall experience was good. The staff were consistently polite and courteous. While a few team members could perhaps benefit from additional training and service refinement, everyone was professional and eager to help. The quality of the food was also good, though service times were sometimes longer than expected. Overall, I had a positive experience and would consider staying here again. If the hotel pays closer attention to room maintenance and continues investing in staff training for the restaurant team, it has the potential to deliver an even better guest experience.

Location is good but food wasn’t good at all. Even if you serve lesser options it’s ok, but try to improve on the food quality and taste. Also, at first i was given one of the connecting rooms and the other room was already occupied.Only upon my request that i am not comfortable staying there, i was given a different room. But i expect that being business hotel, they should have taken care of it before assigning the room when the booking was made for a single person’s stay.

The silver member privilege was not honoured despite showing membership status email. We requested late checkout during checkin, but received a call threatening there will be charges if not checked out early. The bed was too soft and caused severe back pain. Breakfast was ok.

Overall stay was comfortable. However, we had an issue with the checkin process. We had booked two rooms, but only one was given at time of check in. It took 2 or 3 follow ups with the front desk to get the second room and finally settle in.

Stay was ok. No support staff to carry luggage. I and my collegue carried our own luggage to the room. Room size and Bathroom were very small. The towels provided was not clean. Basic enmities like tooth brush, etc were not upto the mark. Breakfast was ok. Had only few basics in breakfast. Requested attendant to bring 2 items while having breakfast and he vanished. Very bad support staff.

The rooms were okay but the staff completely ignored the fact that we had a reservation and denied stay when my family drove several hindered kilometers to be there at night. Finally after bringing up the email countless times and showing the confirmation of payment (which was also done in full well in advance) they let us in. Terrible reservation management and T service. The staff were rude and unprofessional.
