It’s a 1960s motel, converted into an IBIS. Renovated of course, but the 60s vibe is still there. Comfortable and clean, flat firm mattress (good). The little fridge was loud enough to raise the dead but easily switched off for the night. Aircon good. Staff all good. Not enough car spaces in the courtyard when full so some cars need to park kerbside on the street which was fine. Quiet. During Xmas week the cooked breakfast was not being done, continental only, which would be annoying if I had paid for breakfast but I can’t remember if I did or didn’t and I can’t be bothered to check. Suffice to say they should take care not to sell a breakfast that is not going to be available. If they did that. PS we didn’t use the hotel dining at all but ate downtown a few meals and can confirm the quality of brunch’s etc we had is capital city standard absolutely. Good job broken hill!

The room was comfortable although quite small. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during the Christmas/New Year period. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

Single bed was firm and really disappointed the restaurant was shut. Also disappointed had to park in the street.
