This was the second time on this particular trip that I stayed at this hotel. As it was my last stop before my return to Australia I wished I had booked into the Novotel which was just next door. At the end of the day it is always lovely to return to a nice room and Ibis Blackfriars didn’t make the grade

Air conditioning made more noise than a broken tractor- until about 3am when it made a noise like a fire alarm! TV had only 2 channels which I complained about but did not get fixed. Breakfast was adequate but cold plates and burnt bacon. So many hotels to choose from nearby so I recommend avoiding this one.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay, it has been one of the only hotels I’ve ever stayed in that has served food 24 hours which was so helpful when we arrived late to the hotel after travelling.

No hand towels, no tissue papers at bathroom, bath towels are hanged too low to ground and close to toilet bowl; No milk for tea or coffee; However, location is good, close to subway station and most receptionists are friendly and helpful
