Lovely room, with great view off the balcony but once the residents in the room to our left were back we couldn’t be on the balcony as they were smoking very strong smelling cannabis

The Novotel Hotel Blackfriars London. The staff was friendly and courteous! They assisted us with directions and places to visit. I especially wish to mention a very special person on your staff. His name is Guiseppe, he made our stay very special! He went beyond all our expectations in providing for everything we needed! It was our first time staying at Novotel, and it will certainly not be our last!

Staff very friendly and helpful Pillows very tired and need replacing with better quality pillows Breakfast was not a good experience Resturant over crowded, hot food was Luke warm, and often empty Coffee machines only gave half cup measures. One machine was too near the pancake machine with lots of children cooking their own Dined in restaurant one evening and it was fine. Requested a high floor and allocated fourth floor!

I could see that have requested indeed a room on the higher floor, although when checking-in a room with a bathtub instead was accommodated upon arrival. Normally our rooms with bathtub will be allocated on the 6th floor being the highest floor available with these features. We will add a note on your profile to keep an higher floor whenever possible pre-allocated by default. Nice rooms, great location. Breakfast could be better, with more options. Only 2 comments; 1, we arrived at 5ham and we were asked to pay the whole amount before check in. We could have paid it few hours later after having few hours of sleep. 2. I don t like it that your hotel does not give the option to pay cash. Clients should always have the option to pay in cash. Because of this, i will reconsider booking with you again despite all theother positive points.

In regards the comments that you had pointed out, I would like to inform that from March 2022 all London hotels under Accor have adopted a 'cashless' policy. It is stated on all our platforms and that is a decision made from Accor HQ which we have to follow. Regarding the payment requirements we are only to issue the key cards when a valid method of payment it is registered. We appreciate that it was quite early morning when you have arrived, however we are required to follow these standards in place.
