I've got absolutely nothing to complain about, the room was very clean, very comfortable, and had all the utilities you would need. The shower was nice and hot and behind a glass door. The rest of the bathroom was well equipped, it was very nice and welcoming right down to the folded in toilet paper, those little touches that show that the staff care about everything. The view from the room was also very pleasant and relaxing, with lots of greenery and the hills in the background. The location is very close to town, one of the closest, so it's very easy to have a night in the town and walk home comfortably. I can't think of anything to complain about. The only reason I would choose someone else when visiting Tamworth again next time would be if I had my dog with me in which case I would need to choose a dog friendly motel.

Overall a nice stay in a quiet room with a lovely meal at the onsite restaurant. The light in the fridge in the rooom kept blinking on and off which made sleeping difficult.

Our room entrance faced the afternoon sun on a hot afternoon. The direct sun caused the electronic door lock to overheat and not open with swipe card. The staff at the front desk was aware of the issue and knew that holding a bag of ice on top of the lock was the only solution. She offered to hold the ice on the lock but as she was busy I did the job myself. After we came back from going out for dinner we had to get another bag of ice to open our door. Luckily I thought to check the door before we unloaded our young children as the lock took up to ten minutes standing in the direct sun to begin to work again, in that time I had my car still running to keep air conditioner working for partner and kids
