Everything as expected, good reception, very organized common area, beds and bathrooms very tidy and sanitized. Good, fresh food with plenty of variety. The people who work are trained to perform the service efficiently. I had no problem.

It is a pitty. It was my third stay ar this hotel. They charged my credit card on the day of the online check in and again after my check out. I am traveling and moving to another state right now and it is difficult for me this boring thing of complaining calling the hotel. Well, I called and they said that I will need send my credit card bill extract to them to proof that I did not pay twice...

Hotel is located for business around the Botafogo and downtown area. Near to the subway station. Hotel reception is very kind, and service was also very nice. Room service must be improved. Specially, bath products (soap and shampoo) should be replaced every day which did not happen.

Great location near by restaurants, metro (Botafogo station) and shopping. Easy access to touristic points. Friendly staff. In my last stay the breakfast was better. The private parking increased 50% since my last stay.

The last two stay at this hotel was a bit stressful. We stayed at this hotel a few times and it was never outstandinga, but the last two stays were a bit stressful. It begins with the parking service, I´m sure the parking staff thinks they are doing us a favour. On the previous stay I made reservation in my name, but my husband arrived first, the lady that was at the reception was very rude to the point of saying that I had to do the check-in not him, but she was going to make an exception "this time only", her words, and let him check-in but changed the reservation to his name. This second time, again I made the reservation in my name and even though I had something else to do I went to do the check-in with my husband to avoid any problem. Arrived at the reception, announced myself and that I was there to check-in, and then comes a sequence of totally unnencessary questions, Are you here with someone else? Yes, my husband. Where is he? Dealing with the car park. Are you both checking in? Yes. Are you going to wait for him? No. Ok, them we finally get going with the check-in and when she finally gets my name she says, "Oh! I remember you too, you´ve been here before." Yes, we have. So, check-in done and she says that my husband needs to sign the paper too. Fine, I know that is standard procedure, So, he arrives, sign the paper and hand it back to the receptionist. Then, there comes the question that sounded a lot more like a suspicion and made me loose my patience that was already hanging by a thread. She goes "I need to make sure I have the correct CPF number, what is your CPF number?" So, my husband said, well let me see the paper and I´ll tell you if you got it right. To resume, she wanted him to say it just so to make sure he was who he was saying he was. Hello!!! Remember you said you remembered us? Didn´t like the suspcious. She should had been more professional and asked for his ID and not ask him to confirm his CPF number so she can be sure it is him. To top it up you coffee and milk out of the machine is the most disgusting thing ever. Needless to say, IBIS Botafogo is at the very bottom of my list.
