Jewel near the River

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would find such an amazing place to stay in Mildura! Hopped off the bus from Ballarat and a short walk to the Mecure upon arrival. Hmmm this will be interesting was my first thought, and I was certainly right, walk through the present to the past, and receive a good ole fashioned welcome and chat from the reception staff. When I was told we've upgraded you... they were not kidding, travel upstairs either by an amazing staircase or the luxury of an old time lift. The room was big enough for the family back home of 8. OK so they don't have a restaurant as part of the Mecure, but they have a great relationship with the equally impressive "Hotel" next door that cooks up the most amazing mouth watering meals for Dinner and Breakfast, and what's more you receive Accor rates. I can't wait to find an excuse to go back and stay at this amazing Mecure in Mildura!

Spent 2 nights here as part of a longer, organised tour. Clean, neat, quiet room. Centrally located hotel with easy access to range of eateries. Off street carparking. Friendly staff. The breakfast menu offered some very tasty options.

I was upgraded to a family room which was very roomy, comfortable and included two televisions.. The hotel is located near the centre of town with quite a few eateries close by including Mercure's own restaurant which was very nice. Friendly and efficient staff.

Quaint, dated, clean, good location

We got a last minute room after a long drive from Canberra. Great location near the river. Reception staff were friendly. The room was small and a little dated but well appointed and clean with everything you need. Bed was super comfy, shower was hot, blackout blinds were great. Kettle and toaster for a quick in-room brekkie. As the hotel is old (heritage listed) the floors are extremely creaky in the corridors so you will hear people walking up and down at all hours. My daughter loved the quaint lift. Might stay again.

I wont be back) red stains on carpet, dirt on sheets, carpet needs replacing, curtains have rips. Terrible! Paint from walls is peeling off, looks dirty, build up of dirt on steps, cant believe it Internet is so slow,after reading orher reviews, mine seems minor
