I booked only 8 hours prior to cancelling and the cancelling was only due to the notification from sealink ferries that the ferries for the next day would be cancelled. We had to be home for the day after. We had no chose but to travel on the day we booked and even then the trip on the ferry was rough. Contacted front of desk 8 hours after I made the online booking to say we had to cancel due to the incoming weather and the ferry cancellations. They said they would cancel the booking but they still took the money. No considertaion for circumstances and the fact we were a last minute (8hours) booking. Very poor

Very relaxing stay, loved the fires in the dining rooms. All the food was amazing. Would love to go back in Summer to enjoy the pool which looked so inviting even though it was cold and wet.
