The check in process was simple and straightforward. The teams can accommodate English speakers. However, the hallways to the rooms were very dimly light, even in the daytime. This is not very inviting. The doors are also heavy and the stainless steel design, while modern, is very cold. It does not add a positive feeling before you enter the room. Also, the carpet was very old in the hallway and was coming loose. Inside the room, there was no English translation for how to use the air conditioning. This can be a big detail for foreign travelers after a long journey. Inside my room, it was very difficult to figure out the light switches. I was not aware that the lights were controlled by the pad next to the bed. This was the first time I have seen this style of controls. I also had two cockroaches in my room while I stayed there. This was beyond surprising given how high my floor was in the building. Lastly, I did not expect breakfast to be over at 9:30am. Typically, breakfast at many hotels is open until 10:00am.
