Had a great experience at Novotel Lami. Stayed over for 3 nights and the room and service were excellent. Oscar at the front desk was very welcoming, ensured we were accommodated for and went out of his way to offer suggestions on restaurants and things to do around Suva. A real asset to your team.

The hotel is old and run-down with carpets smell awful. The Bay view looks good in picture but bad smell at dusk ruined any chance of enjoying the balcony Breakfast option is small Staff are friendly. However charge $7 for coffee to their Diamond members seem absurd

Our visits to Suva always include a stopover at Novotel when visiting family. The staff are consistently accommodating and attentive. I believe the receptionist’s name was Temo / Timo ? —I hope I got that right—who was especially helpful , professional when there was a minor issue with neighbouring guests. He quickly arranged the alternative and moved us to a quieter room so my husband and I could get a proper sleep after a long flight and long drive that day. A lovely gesture and we are appreciative of towards the desk staff. The restaurant staff were just as attentive, and I appreciated the brief chat with the chef during breakfast that day. It was lovely that she took the time to check on the food and greet guests in the buffet area. The breakfast buffet vegetarian section with their rice and dhal with the tamarind chutney is to die for. Every visit to Novotel Suva feels warm and welcoming. Vinaka, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Stayed for a wedding. The reception staff were amazing, attentive and accommodating, they even upgraded my room! The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the bay. Sadly the staff at the restaurant/bar were very slow and nearly always got orders wrong or didn't come to take orders, and not very nice in general. I nearly always had to go up to the bar to make any orders as they were too busy talking amongst themselves most the time. All the other staff in the hotel I dealt with were amazing though.
