Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the ibis budget Manchester Centre Pollard Street. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by housekeeping staff entering your room. Our housekeeping staff do not begin until 9am,. After checking the CCTV footage, it can be seen that a member of our housekeeping staff knocked on your door at 9.20am, not 7am, took a moment to wait for an answer, then entered the room. This procedure is carried out when there is no "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door to make sure the staff have plenty of time to clean empty rooms. Whilst we understand this may have been inconvenient, we checked the records on CCTV and our check-in system and can seen you checked out and left after midday, rather than immediately after they entered the room. We are sorry that you were unhappy with the cleanliness of the room, however we were not made aware of the condition of the room at any point during your stay. We recommend in the future that in this situation, you immediately speak to the reception staff so that we are able to offer you a different room. As our staff followed procedure and there was no attempt to inform us off the cleanliness of the room, we will be unable to offer a refund under these circumstances. Images of our room layouts can be found on website, however we do apologise for any inconvenience caused. I appreciate the points raised in your review, however the number of pillows/towels etc is an Ibis Brand Standard and we cant alter them. I will however bring your comments to all team attention.
