Inspite of informing well in advance the check in time, need to wait for 30-45 mins. The food which has been ordered in room was not upto the mark. For the money which they charge the food is bad. Towels should be maintained clean

Wonderful stay at Novotel, OMR

This is the second time we had visited this hotel and the stay was very satisfying. I am happy that my kids got some time to play within the hotel campus. They like archery the most. We are planning to buy one at home. Rabina from the reservation team helped me both the times to pull through a very good price for me. We loved the room we were given. Cleanliness was at its best. We didn't get the scope to taste the food at the hotel. We'll do the same next time. And more importantly, I must say that the staffs are very courteous and helpful. We'll always visit this place again and recommend others.

Relaxing Stay at OMR Chennai

It was a great weekend to celebrate Diwali in Novotel Chennai, a warm hospitality by the excellent team members who had went their extreme level to make our stay happy. The place is clean, staffs are extremely friendly and the food is amazing! Everything was clean and hygienic. What sets them apart from any other hotel is their staffs, it's amazing how well they treat their customers.

We had very bad experience with this hotel food was totally bad and poor service we have ordered a salad it took more than one hour taste of the food is not so good service was very poor it took us minimum one hour for a lunch

Had a great stay Duty Manager Zenith was great help when I was in serious need of room because of our unavoidable extention of stay but rooms were not available he arranged in another Novotel and also sent us there as I was with kids and my husband was stuck up in meeting and it was almost 11pm. All front office staff were so good in taking care of everything and their hospitality was awesome sorry girls I forgot your names only remember Kavitha’s name just the restaurant staff need to be updated about membership card features as they somewhat disappointed me at the time of billing

Poor experience. Rude reception, unhygienic and used dry fruits/chocalates kept as complementary which was not acceptable. Also not got pleasant experience from your reception team. Room cleanliness is not up to the mark.

The hotel needs a lot of improvement in the quality of Service. Excessive delay in attending call by Guest services. Moreover we were served Cold and scale Food. The rooms and the bar is good. The bed is very comfortabke.

The stay is very good. My kids liked very much. Everything good from staff to room cleaning to cleanliness etc. The pool is only 4 feet which can be increased if possible. Apart from that all good. One thing is the Restarunt is bit costly.

Clueless staff and budget hotel amenities

Pissed off with the front office and square restaurant staff service. It has ibis amenities with Novotel name so avoid this hotel. I stayed there for one week and completely let down by the staff behaviour so had to shift to west in velachery.

Nice hotel with all amities and good customer service form the servants and had a pleasant stay at Novotel, its located near Sholinganallur signal and very easy to access the IT companies and food provided had good options to have.

Rooms are small No bathroom Accessories Provided Have to call for every accessory Bathroom has slippery Tiles. No stand for Bath accessories Bed not comfortable. Could not get comfortable sleep during night Restaurant takes lot of time to deliver

Goof ups in payments. Check-in took close to 30 mins. Despite calling multiple times, the front desk choosed to ignore. Rooms lacked basic facilities like Pen and writing pad, tissue boxes. Over all not satisfied with the service.

Everything is good except the restaurant. Behavior of the stuff, food quality and spread is not worth and definitely not at par with any 5 star hotel. I have been staying there for last 2 months for Business trip and everything else was so good but the restaurant and stuff in the kitchen were very sad.

Excellent Hotel and Friendly staff

First time in India, Came for a friends wedding. Excellent communication when I had a delayed flight. They arranged pick up and drop off. Accomodated early check in for me as requested - I was happy to pay the extra to get it earlier and they pretty much were able to check me in as soon as I arrived which was early hours of the morning. Food was incredible - particularly their extensive breakfast choices. Rooms were clean and well set up. The hotel also made it so easy to arrange a car service for us to explore chennai safely and also attend our events. Absolutely made our trip to Chennai more comfortable and easy. The staff are all wonderful - friendly and very helpful!
