Excellent service.. Thanks to Anjali for making the stay comfortable. The food was excellent, the rooms were tidy and clean. The checkin process was super smooth. The morning buffet has variety of items. I’m looking forward to stay again.

We stayed 3 nights here. The IBIS central in Chennai. We had very bad experience. The rooms are very small and the toilet is also so tiny it is very difficult to do our tasks. Worst of all is the cots which are also very small has larger mattresses and that caused problem. Just a small move will make the person fall on the ground. All three nights we were totally deprived of our sleep. Staff came and just adjusted sheets and gone. Breakfast was OK looks wise but they served left over food that was reheated. The TV did not work and the air conditioner temperature was fixed and even it was cold for us we could not change. So had to suffer with low temperature in the room and was told it is fixed and we cannot change. With so much difficulty one staff member came and reduced one degree, but we had to call them many times. On the whole it was a very bad no worst experience which I never experienced it anywhere else . In future I do not want to chose IBIS hotel due to their size of the room and strictly no to Chennai central.

Lovely stay , great food and wonderful hospitality Anjali , bishal , Sharmila and kimi sheriff made the experience really nice The food was yummy and suitable for kids as well. Plus the children’s day chocolate for our daughter was the icing on the cake. Thank you for making her day.

Worst experience ever. Firstly the entrance itself is shady. You have to take an entire round to actually enter the hotel entrance. Then the reception is not in ground floor it's in 5th floor. You will see people randomly sitting at the entrance lobby which is very unsafe if you are a solo female traveler. The front office staff is the worst. They are super slow, zero coordination they took so much time to check in and gave me a room which doesn't have a main door lock. How safe! Imagine you go to check your room and the door is already open. When i asked the front office manager said my housekeeping just made your room so they would have left it open. To my shock the so called cleaned room bathroom was not clean. It has poop stains. I refused to stay in that room and asked for a room change. The front office manager takes me to another room that is assigned to me..to my shock it was a room which is still.not cleaned and was so called not ready . The front office manager called the front desk to check for another room. Finally I got a room after 45 mins and it was just 30 kins left for the dinner buffet to close. The food was pathetic. Cold and tasteless may be because I was the last guest to eat. The restaurant staff is oki but again no coordination between the department. They don't have tetra pack juices on the go they pour in a glass and give you if you ask for a packed breakfast. Overall horrifying experience ..never going back

O hotel encontra-se na zona antiga de Chennai, permitindo um acesso mais rápido aos pontos de interesse histórico da cidade. É um hotel semelhante aos hotéis Íbis mais modernos, na Europa, muito limpo, com pessoal extremamente atencioso. Tem a grande vantagem de servir almoços e jantares (à lista e buffet) o que na Índia é muito importante. A comida é bastante boa.
