Dark rooms and uncomfortable beds.

Room is so dark it’s impossible to see anything . Badly needs some lighting. . Indoor shutter broken-( took 24 hours and many requests before it was fixed after we had to sleep with it broken for a night). Beds are way too soft. We requested firm beds but as yet-( night two)- the mattresses have not been changed. Very sore backs this morning. It is now 2015 pm and we are still waiting for housekeeping to change the mattresses. So disappointing as after a full day sightseeing we are keen to shower but forced to hang around waiting for the promised mattress change. In room telephone works sporadically … The breakfast was great and the view from breakfast is amazing. This does not make up for the fact that the number one requirement of a hotel is a good night’s sleep. Sofitel, you can do way way better… and someone please come already to change the mattresses

It was wonderful experience , great hotel and staff , I recommend it to my friends the only thing I do not like : @ the white color of the room @ the car parking expensive , should be free for hotel gust

SO Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! It begins with the outstanding personal touches of the service personnel; Thomas Van Noort, Anousha, as well Tallie who greeted us at the door. The team overall was excellent with personal touches for our entire 4 days with them. The room Designed by a famous Architect was not only esthetically beautiful but functional and comfortable as well. Our sleep on The well designed bed was beyond compare after long flights from the states and full days is sightseeing.. We will be back again soon and look forward to our next stay. Highly recommend this luxurious yet comfortable Hotel to call your home away from home while in Vienna!
