For a Novotel, we were well impressed about the level of service received here at Novotel Christchurch during our two night stay. We arrived and opted for the valet parking service as we would not require a car for the duration of stay. During check in a friendly staff member welcomed us, and provide a comprehensive overview of the hotel. Our room was on level 13 overlooking ChristChurch and featured a king size bed, amenity area, sofa and bathroom. Breakfast was served on level 1 and includes a live egg station, juices and various hot and cold dishes. We believe this outdone other Novotel breakfasts we have experienced. I have seen some negative comments here however we felt this hotel offered value for money and very good service by Food & Beverage plus Guest Services. We will definitely return.

This is a great hotel. The room I had faced the square and felt sunny and chic. Breakfast is delicious especially the porridge and eggs. I appreciated Mohit’s help at the front desk. Nice little gym, too.

I stayed with my family for just one night but loved every minute of our stay. Room incredibly spacious with great city view and perfect location. A special thanks to Daejah at front desk for her kindness and care, she really made our arrival experience exceptional. Also, the kids play room is absolutely incredible, my 1-year old daughter loved it! Thank you.

Lovely room, pleasant stay. Well thought out amenities. Really nice. My only improvement suggestion was that the breakfast buffet would benefit from some decent french press/filter coffee and properly made tea as part of the buffet price. Given the price you charge, it feels a bit rough to then pay another $5 for anything more than instant coffee. The water from the machine didn't get hot enough to make tea either.
