We had a wonderful experience during our stay. At the beach, Jin (Zin Min) provided excellent service. He regularly checked in to see if we needed anything, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. His friendly and attentive approach truly enhanced our time at the beach. We also had dinner at the Laguba restaurant, which was an absolute highlight. Our waitress, Kristen, was incredibly charming and caring towards our family. When we were unsure about which wine to choose, she kindly offered us a tasting of both options so we could decide afterward — a lovely and professional touch. The food was delicious, and the sea bass is highly recommended. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening with outstanding service and great food. We will definitely remember this experience.

My wife and I had an absolutely exceptional stay at Sofitel The Palm Dubai — truly deserving of 5 stars in every way. From the moment we arrived, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail were outstanding. A special highlight was the Premier Lounge. The entire team was fantastic — warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They made our stay feel personal and truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed a wonderful Christmas brunch, which was beautifully organized and delicious — a perfect festive experience. And the Tomahawk Steak on Tomahawk Friday was incredible — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Housekeeping was exceptional as well. Our room was taken care of by Monirul, and he did a phenomenal job. The room was always spotless, well-prepared, and he made sure every detail was perfect. We felt genuinely looked after. Beautiful resort, great food, excellent facilities, and world-class service — I can’t recommend Sofitel The Palm Dubai highly enough. We would return in a heartbeat!

Second Christmas at the Sofitel on the palm and we have loved every minute, food lovely, staff great. Stayed in a club room which is brilliant x

So far this trip has been super pleasant, the environment has been amazing and the service from the staff members has been impeccable. I would loo like to thank Rahul from the premier lounge as he looked after us every time we dined and was extremely friendly yet professional. He is a true asset to the company

I have stayed at all of the luxury hotels along Palm and many in Dubai, this site shows as a 5 star hotel but the service offering is way below standards. The people is what makes the hotel. I have never come across so many moody and miserable staff, hardly anyone acknowledges you with a Good Morning, Hello etx. The bell boys at front act like a gang from India and start talking in own languages amongst selfs when you ask them questions. Rooms are OK. Food quality ok ish but the chefs are a disgrace. Wouldn't hire any of them at a 5 star property. Prakesh is the only decent staff working in the restaurant and is levels above this poorly run joint. Gym is nice, spacious but dirty. Swimming pools, plenty BUT scandalous that not heated - its a disgrace! During our stay when temperatures are 21, 22, 23 you must have pool temp between 30 - 32. The fact that hardly anyone using pool from midday, isn't that a massive red flag to management? When raised with lifeguards who would rather sit sneakily on mobiles, they say the pool temperatures will not be increasing from 28degrees as senior management get angry with costs! That was a common answer. In my honest view this hotel is at best 3 STARs and way too much improvement needed starting with staff attentiveness, attention, attitudes and behaviours.
