Staying at IBIS but benefitting from NOVOTEL facilities was actually good. Air conditioning system in the room was not properly working and was a problem during a cold Constantine night.

The hotel was in a good, central location, with restaurants within walking distance and the Main Pedestrian bridge also nearby. Room was comfortable, aircond was good and WiFi was strong in the room. However, few things have to be improved, for starters the room was not very clean (you can not be barefoot due to some kind of dust or dirt on the floor constantly) and the same can be said for the toilet as well. Another issue I had was the no outside food policy, I understand if its something like durian in Asia, however, not being allowed to bring food in is a major hassle considering that most restaurants outside close early. Perhaps something to consider

Check in took long . I had a problem with my booking at booking.com . the staff didnt really know how to help me and told me to contact booking.com , I felt a little stressed with the situation . Why couldnt the staff make a new booking for me as I was there? as I was tired I just made a new booking in the hotel website so the check in could be done faster. The staff was great I just think they need to be trained in knowing what to do Incase problems happens.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the facilities and staff exceeded my expectations. The public areas and my room was clean and bright. I appreciated coming back to my room each afternoon to a nice comfortable bed. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast buffet each morning, great selection, and great start to the day. The front desk staff were kind and professional, helping me organize a taxi to Timgad and Setif. The one drawback I can think of is that I experienced some confusion when I wanted to order room service. Since I was staying at Ibis and not Novotel I was told that I could not get a meal sent to my room. After talking with the dining manager the issue was resolved and I ordered a great dinner.

I had a good stay at the room but my free time was not enjoyed because in the restaurant it took nearly half an hour to change the TV channel. The waiter did not have the command to put Bein Sport (it is a need in an IBIS to have acces to sport entertaintment I think) and it was kind of an adventure to change the channel from elsewhere. In addition, the restaurant menu is quite poor.

Been here a few times Location is the best however: 1. Staff are not friendly neither professional 2. Pillows are not for a 3 star hotel 3. Each time they clean up the rooms your key doesn't work and will have to Q for 10mns because there's only 1 receptionist taking care of both Novotel & Ibis....

Decent clean room, and great location spoiled by poor customer service. The receptionist was incredibly slow dealing with other customers, and I had to wait a good twenty minutes for him to deal with 3 customers - which seemed excessive. Then when he was free, instead of saying "Sorry for the Wait" or speakign ayt all, he went right to the back of the room and starteddoing some additional paperwork that clearly could have been done at a later stage. I had to ask another member of staff to get him to come back and let me pay him. He did eventually come to the front and served me but was really slow the whole time, and there was a long queue behind me. I clearly stated "I'd like to pay for my room and get my key". He kept asking me additional questions and asking if I'd like to upgrade, and asking if I'd like to put extra money on a tab, and then explaining what a room tab is (which of course is common knowledge and doesn't require explaining). I don't mind waiting if there's a reason for it, but the receptionist seemed deliberately slow and poorly managing his tasks. I can't remember having to wait so long in the past, and he was needlessly slow and discourteous. I remember thinking at the time I'd like to make a formal complaint because it really bothered me. Other than the receptionist, the location was good, the rooms were ok, and the room was perfectly clean. The cleaning staff do an excellent job, and the views from the balcony were amazing.

Hairs in the bed and in the shower, really terrible. If you want to take a shower in the room 104, be careful, you may need a Baywatch in fact a flooding is assured if you will take your shower longer than one minute.

I'm really unsatisfied because of the staff at the check out , problems on the system and the manner he spoke to me in front of my spouse, I waited a lot at the reception knowing that at my arrival I gave all details to speed up the check out, I was delayed on my next trip , catastrophic I preferred to use another hotel for my new stay and I will use another hotel when I comeback to Constantine next week.
