Great all-round service

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Novotel Paddington. The check-in was very personal, there was a complimentary upgrade to a larger room, the room was clean and comfortable, it was quiet in the corridors and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very rich and there was a good selection of food and drinks. We had lunch in the restaurant and the food was very tasty. We had a chilled beer with it. The departure was also very cordial. We wanted for nothing during our two days at the Novotel. Thank you for this great time. We would love to come back!

Location still great, but otherwise disappointing.

We stayed at Novotel Paddington in 2017, it was fabulous and we knew we would be back. Unfortunately we were disappointed, we waited 20 mins for check-in (no one in front of us when we arrived), the service once we got it was good, but management should review the check-in process. Rooms were very tired, for example each side of the bed was a landline phone plug, no power point (all other hotels on our trip had power points and USB points, this should be an easy update and not need to wait for full room remodelling). Towels were very worn with holes and fraying, pillows were lumpy. We knew the hotel was undergoing work externally and this was not a concern to us during our stay. Overall the stay was disappointing and not good value for money. In the future I will look for accommodation in the same area, but will carefully check reviews before considering Novotel Paddington again.
