Not an Accor Experience!

We did not enjoy our 4 day stay at this hotel although it has great location and our check in was quite professional. When I think of why I didn’t get a positive feeling you typically get at Accor hotels, it comes down to one area in the hotel: F&B - I went to the lobby lounge on my first night at 11:20pm and got a frosty welcome. Perhaps because it was interfering with the closing. - We tried breakfast at both the restaurant and the lounge, and it has to be one of the worst when it comes to variety, taste and service. We stopped eating after second day. - I ordered room service. Notwithstanding it took longer than promised, it was tasteless even for a local dish. - I won’t go over the lounge incident again as the management addressed it. Front desk, housekeeping, concierge were all professional and as expected, so perhaps the hotel management can focus on improving its F&B.

I used to stay here many years back, but I finally decided to stay here again. Booked 2 nights stay. Though check-in time was 3 p.m., the front desk was kind enough to let us check in early. We got a room on the 11th floor. The room was pretty spacious and cozy, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning it! Kudos to the team! Had breakfast included in the package and the spread was OK. The Hotel is located 'next' to the Pavilion Shopping Mall, connected via a bridge (needs to get off the bridge and walk into the Hotel, though). Lots of eateries and shops nearby. A great location! It was a comfortable stay and I would consider staying here again!
