A truly wonderful stay

Our stay at the Ibis Styles Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was superb 🙏😊 We've already read the negative reviews and would love to leave our own. We are so glad that we chose this hotel for our first stay in KL. From the first day to our last the service we received from every single staff member was superb and you should be proud of them all. Please pass on our sincere thanks. The hotel is very welcoming. Our room was great. Bed was so comfortable and air conditioning was very cold. Amenities in the room were perfect. Good selection of TV channels, tea and coffee and bottled water with a kettle. Soap, shower wash, toothpaste and toothbrush all provided daily. What more could you ask for. Breakfast buffet options were great. We tried both the Chinese and the Indian which also included some Western options. I myself loved the coffee and masala tea. I must admit that I do love cornflakes in the morning but obviously not essential. We used the gym which was very modern and we were very happy with that too. As for the location we felt that it is perfect. No need to use a Grab taxi for getting around. The hotel is directly linked to the MRT and LRT networks making it very easy to get around the city very cheaply. We're definitely going to be staying here again next year for our next break. I along with my family travelled Malaysia recently and we stayed at ibis Styles for 3 nights in Bed & Breakfast plan an it was amazing experience. Although it was a 3 star property they provided great hospitality to welcome us and take care of us for 3 continents nights. The rooms were well cleaned and well set all 3 nights. The breakfast was amazing with 2 different sets of buffet counter. Indian continental and Chinese continental. We really enjoyed our time at ibis styles.

All basic things are good, AC is working well, good water pressure and hot water too but interiors a bit run down. Parking is convenient, nearby restaurants, not too far from the train station. Only engaged with the staff during check in, so no issues there. Check in was fast.

The room is so smal and old, the lights inside the room is so dark, the triple room there no extra bed, only sleeps on the sofa. it was terrible. the towels is so old, all equipments of the hotel is so old and lowest standards........................

Freely roaming cockroaches

Got up at night to use the washroom. While sitting on the toilet, and half asleep, I glanced at the toilet paper roll on my right just to see two antennas emerging from under the fold. You can imagine my reaction. Tried to get back to sleep but could hear the little noises from the cockroach freely wandering in my room. Took two pics and two videos of it walking over the collar of my work shirt on the couch next to the bed. Can't upload here because photo guidelines say the pics can't "Be blurry, dark or otherwise difficult to view." Blurry and dark sure, but it's very easy to see what it is. Oh well, maybe it's better not to show it.
