Grand Mercure Bangkok Asoke Residence 5 estrelas

The hotel is located within a few minutes walk to Terminal 21 mall and Asok BTS. The asset is private and quite with huge rooms. It is well equipped, However, the rooms are already old and in due for refurbishment, the breakfast was very mediocre compared to other Accor assets because this is a service apartment. I am accor platinum member and stayed in Mercure Siam and Grand Mercure Atrium during this trip before staying at this asset. The service at this service apartment is good and we are happy with the service and responsiveness. I enjoyed the room very much, the room and the bed was very comfortable.

Hotel is a good for family and friends. Large living room, comfort bedroom and kitchen area. Swimming pool is good relax and service is also excellent. Hope to have a chance to revisit again soon with friends.

This hotel is the perfect choice if you are looking for a home away from home to stay long term. Rooms are big and are more like suite/small condo than an actual hotel room. Hotel is in a perfect location within 10 min walking distance to ASOK BTS/MRT and they even provide free shuttle every 30 min. Staff at this hotel is very friendly and service minded and the GM BT is in particular there to make your stay hassle free and make you feel welcome. I ways look forward to come back. I can really recommend this place.

I was having trouble booking this hotel from the Accor app, so I wrote the hotel and asked if they could help me. I soon got a reply from the GM and shortly thereafter everything was in order. We arrived Bangkok early in the morning by night train and had asked in advance if we could store our luggage in the hotel until the room was ready. No problem! We could relax by the pool until we could move into our room. Our plan was to ditch the bags, get our Accor Plus welcome coffee (much needed after the night train) and then go out to look for breakfast. Instead we were met by the GM in the lobby when checking in. A very nice man! He took us straight to the breakfast area on the top floor and treated us, not only to coffee, but a full breakfast! He also told us our room was ready and we could move right in! That was the best welcome we’ve had in any hotel! It made our day so much better than expected and we could head out to explore the town with full bellys and adequate caffeine levels. We chose this hotel because it has big rooms that easily fit our family of 4. It has 2 bathrooms, full kitchenette + washing machine, dining area, living room and balcony! Did not disappoint. The staff and food was great, the location was excellent, just a short walk to public transport of all sorts. On the roof, next to the breakfast area, there is a pool and a nice area to relax. You will also find a small gym up there and even a sauna!(my favorite) The pool is clean and cool! Best pool we have tried in a long time. No smell of chlorine and the water was crystal clear. Felt like swimming in a cool lake. Also, this is a pet friendly hotel:-) The staff helped us organize with excursions and transport with excellent service at a reasonable price. Warmest of recommendations for this hotel.

After 3 years of Covid absence we returned to our second home in Bangkok and I have to say the hotel improved.Even the hotel comes in its years, it is still well maintained and kept well. The location is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The appartments are very clean (Cleaner than before Covid) and the breakfast has improved significantly. GM B.T and his staff are doing a great job and definitly we will come back.
