We booked this Hotel to watch the Tour de France going past. Very easy to get to from the port of Ouistreham. It is situated in an industrial area with the University Campus just by. Access to the city centre is either a long walk - doable or get the tram from over the road down into the city centre. The hotel itself is very nice, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We had a bonus of having 2 of the TdF teams staying which added to our experience. We ate here in the evening and for breakfast. The food was well presented and tasty - no problems there. The local road network also made it easy to get out and about and explore the Normandy beaches and memorials, which we did.

Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Staff went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food.

Personnel très agréable : femme de ménage, serveur... Une mention particulière pour la serveuse du petit déjeuner et du déjeuner, brune avec de grands cheveux attachés, qui à chaque repas, avait une petite attention. Petit bémol sur le plat du jour qui est identique tous les jours (midi et soir), petite déception comparée aux prestations proposées. Les chambres sont propres et surtout au calme, literie confortable.
