My stay at this Novotel hotel was an unmitigated disaster. I arrived on the same day I booked, and was immediately struck by the overpowering mouldy smell when I walked into the elevator. Things only got worse when I entered my room, which was in a state of disrepair. The rug was stained and worn, and the decay was palpable. I knew I had to get out of there, so I contacted Expedia to request a refund. But the hotel refused, leaving me stuck in for five days. The WiFi was nonexistent, the towels and sheets were old and even the toilet paper was the cheapest in the market. And if all that wasn't enough, I saw cockroaches scurrying around during breakfast. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this hotel managed to get such glowing reviews and if this reviews are legitimate. After spending four weeks in Europe and two weeks at the Best Western Oxbow Lake Yenagoa, this experience was a rude awakening.

Miracle provided very good service for us, day in and day out during a longer stay here A lot of the restaurant staff seems irritated and act like they dont care, but when miracle arrives to the table to take orders everything lights up
