Friendly reception, uninterested staff in restaurant - I got the menu but nobody came to take my order - so I left and went for dinner somehwere else. Rooms are shabby - since years. Breadrolls at breakfast are soft - not freshly baked. Good location.

The rooms are very small, the shower was tiny, the air conditioners didn't work very well or keep the rooms very cool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's not located near many main attractions. The alley that led to the hotel is very nice and beautiful though. Overall it was acceptable but certainly nothing special.

Love the ambiance of the alley with the umbrellas and lots of food options RIGHT nearby. That was especially helpful for a solo female traveler with a late arrival, didn't have to venture far in the dark to get good food. The layout of the floors/rooms is a little confusing and finding the entrance was a little confusing also. Better signage would be very helpful in both instances. (Did a lot of backtracking and wandering to find the entrance and the room). A quick explanation at check-in about what number rooms are on which side of the elevator, since it doesn't directly connect, maybe a point out of a map, would be great! My only critique is the bed is pretty low and hard. Once I went to sleep it was perfectly fine but wasn't the most appealing at the get go. Staff was great, overall great stay. Would stay again

For the price an excellent choice in Vienna

We spent 3 nights here in July 2024. The location of thr hotel is a 10 or 15 min walk from town, but well situated for trams and U and S Bahn stations. Its a 5 min walk from Vienna Mitte station (Handy if you are coming from the airport) and a tram line runs close to the rear of the hotel/ We arrived after midnight and the staff were great - welcoming and professional. The only area one could complain about is that the rooms are possibly a bit dated.... but you don't come to stay in the room. Everything worked brilliantly - great wifi, hot water, good TV, comfy bed etc etc... all the things you need. Breakfast very good - again staff were super and the choice and quality were great. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here - for the price it was excellent.
